Great creamy backgrounds add visual appeal to a photograph.

Having said that, while shooting wildlife, the subject location and background may not be ideal for great photographs. But as the focus is on the wildlife, it doesn't harm to show the natural habitat, even if it is a bit cluttered. (as long as the subject is clearly in focus.)

Well i'd been to Valparai last week and was so unlucky to spot even one elephant!!!

Anyway I'll share some photos of black monkeys and Nilgiri Tahrs when we went to Valparai, the camera is with Varun.

EDIT: The photo quality of your posts are the best one can ever see, Kudos guys!

Red-whiskered Bulbul... from our recent road trip...

Description
8" (20 cm). Grayish above, whitish below, with long conspicuous black crest, red cheek patch and undertail coverts, and black, white-tipped tail.
Voice
Various chattering notes; a whistled queekey!
Habitat
Residential areas, parks, and gardens.
Range
Native to Southeast Asia. Introduced and established in region around Miami, Florida.
This species has long been adapted to living in the vicinity of towns and villages in Southeast Asia, and is now successful in suburban Miami. Bulbuls are noisy, gregarious birds, usually traveling in flocks in pursuit of insects and fruit.
Nesting
2-4 pinkish-white eggs, spotted with reddish brown, in a cup of dead leaves and grass that is lined with fine roots and hair and placed in a bush or small tree. [source internet]

Yes. Definitely very scary, especially shooting this fellow at about 10m distance. Was busy munching something, stopped, clicked and sped away before it started coming down on to the road unpleasantly.
