Got the bumper replaced unders insurance ( it cost me Rs. 1000 rest was covered under insurance), i should say it looks very good and they have done a good job.

yes, all damages can be claimed under insurance. You need to go to the service center, fill up a form and wait for Insurance guys to inspect the damage and approve the same. The bumper has to be ordered if not in stock and needs to be painted in your cars color. Should be around 8k in total If I am not wrong , including bumper+painting. If its a small dent, you can get it repaired from local body shops. They can do at half the cost, or even less.

Great [clap]

An update: The 1.2NA engine and the Boosterjet 1.0 uses the same oil filter, and costs around INR69-INR82 depending on cities. The parts catalog shows a different part number for RS, But the DMS shows the exact one to be used. I have procured one oil filter just in case if my home SVC does not have it in stock as they have said that before. Got it from RNS Maruti Suzuki on Hosur Road, Bangalore. Will be doing the service from Popular Maruti Suzuki in Calicut, Kerala, very soon. Almost touched 10k kms, with me not finding much time to drive around due to work commitments. the oil used will be Castrol 5w30 Fully synthetic. Shall keep this thread posted once its done [:)]

Third Service update : 10,000 kms, 6 months of ownership. Total Cost : 3393 INR.
Service Centre: Popular MASS, Calicut, Kerala

Went in pre-booked, the SA as more than helpful and provided me a crazy time of 7:30AM at the workshop and I did just that. What followed was immaculate. The car was taken in at 7:45 sharp after finishing paper works and noting down my issues, I told them I would wait and see what is being done with the car and they were happy to let me in and watch the works along with the car. Nice !

Car had developed a very small leak from the head gasket, and I thought of changing the gasket for good. No oil level drops noticed even after 3000 kms, but for the sake of my mind, I decided to change it. The mech was very knowledgeable , so was the SA. The labour of this was under warranty , but I had to pay for the gasket, for which I agreed after seeing their good behaviour. Also they did not charge me for brake fluid top-up, coolant top-up,2 tissue paper box, windshield washer refill(along with 6 packs free for me) which they charge mostly and I was happy. The mech went straight into job and did a perfect job as far as I saw. The air filter box, being top of the engine needs to be removed first to gain access to all bolts of the head cover.

I had already asked them to put Castrol 5w30(1.2 NA uses 0w20) Fully synthetic oil in the car and they did just that. The 1.2NA's oil filter , even though fits the RS ,is actually different from the RS's one. The one for RS is made in Japan and costs around Rs.800. The holes inside the filter are different compared to 1.2, but most service centres doesn't know this. They do it with normal 1.2's oil filter. I dont know what change this will make, but I went along with the Made in Japan one [:D]
Then they did all other things which comes into play in third service including brake pads inspection, air filter cleaning, all fluid top ups etc. I had requested them not to do washing as I like to do it myself, especially after the ceramic pro treatment. 9:45AM , and the car was ready. Flat 2 hours and I was really impressed. Not to forget this 2 hours also took Android Auto update as well, which lasted almost 30 minutes. Attaching the total bill, as well as some pics too.
The wheel balancing and alignment was done from a trusted outside shop as I have been doing it for my other car for ages and the car now feels more flickable and surefooted. Dont know if its just my mind or really changed something. But for sure the Casrtol FS oil have made the engine a bit more smooth. I would give a full 5 stars for the service I got here.

Update !
Changed the alloy wheels to Momo Revenge, Matt anthracite color , procured from Hercules tires, Bangalore - The authorized distributor of Momo in South India. I went ahead with the Momo Outrun M3 tyres as well. Not much reviews of the same available in India, but went ahead with reviews from abroad. I have no idea other than these reviews on the tires, as our conditions are quite different from other countries. As per the dealer, Momo have done their homework to adjust the tire for Indian conditions, and I shall update the same as I munch more kilometers with the tyres. Alloys are made in Thailand, and tires are made in Italy. Had some 50 odd kilometers after the change. The initial feels are , the car feels more planted and surefooted on road, more feel between the road and the driver, the light steering feel is gone though, rather in a good way I felt. Also the road noice has gone down way too well, at-least 90% less than the stock apollos. So far, so good. [:)]
Tyre spec : 215/45/ZR17.

What's the cost for the Alloys (per piece) & Tyre(s)? Did you exchange your car's OEM rims or took them back? The design and color choice are very good and gel well with the car's color.

Alloy costs 12.5k/piece for 17” and 11k/piece for 16” , pan India. The tyres are 12k-13k/piece depending on dealers. I have kept the old alloys and tyres with me. I will think of selling if I get a decent quote. Or else it stays. And , thanks for the compliment.

That's steep man! I guess 4 Alloys in the range of 30K I expected and Tyres again 25-30K for 4. Was there a specific reason you opted for a new brand of Tyre(s)? There are trusted ones like Michelin, Yokohama too.

thanks for the compliment.

Actually I went in for Yokohama 'A-Drive R1' tyres, but the dealer did not have in stock of the same. I got a sweet discount on the Momo tires since I traveled a long distance to get to the place, and being a Sunday, most shops remained shut and the shop owner did not wanted to send me back empty handed as well. Kudos to him actually, Hercules Tyres did a pretty decent job here to satisfy me. Hence thought of trying them on. Had some quick chat with some experts and recent owners of the same tire and all were positive. Hence thought of trying it. [:)]

Ok! Also, you upsized your car's Tyre(s) from 195 to 215 section and bigger rims too. What difference are you feeling in overall performance & ride of the car?

Road is felt more inside the cabin. Like most undulations on the road creeps in, but the tyres are so silent. Handling is much better now, more control to the driver, more stickier to the road and better cornering. Yes, ride quality is compromised with 17”, but the car behaves much better now. Maybe the performance could be negligibly hit, which I am unable to identify as of now, so is the fuel economy because I did not drive around too much with these wheels . I will update these two after munching some kilometres with the same :)

Thank you [:)] Actually I did a lot of research before going for that. Did not want to make the car sluggish or the tires to pop out of the body of the car, which is liked by some, but I dont have much admiration for the same. The Hercules tires were a great experience , they even offered to swap to 205/45/17 if the 215/45/17 popped out of the body. But the 7J rims and 215 felt just perfect for Baleno RS.
