Two weeks ago, I left my phone on my Office Table. People were using my office phones (internal & external). Someone did something, and half an hour later, I saw cracks on the Tempered Glass on my OPO. Upon removing it, realised that the cracks developed on the top Glass of phone. See the Pics below:

Touch is still working fine. All features of the phone are working fine too. But, I am extremely reluctant to repair my OPO. Could this be the time to change the phone ?

Spoilt for choice, from 15K to 37K [:D] . What would be my next phone ? Would it be LG Q6 or Moto G5 S Plus or Honor 8 Pro or LG V20 or LG G6 ... [thinking]

Nevertheless, if I can find a decent quality replacement screen on line, I might repair the phone. Choices choices choices...

No!One Plus 5 8GB RAM is the best option for you.You will feel the same after using One Plus One and it is one of the best Android phone.Or else,go for iPhone 7 32GB under cashback option.

My dad has One Plus 3 since an year and still fast as ever even after 1 year. Now,waiting for new Android update.

Why OP5 is not for me:
Though the performance and feature set of OP5 takes it right there with iPhone8 and S8, a reputed manufacturer like OnePlus, making a iPhone look-alike ... [surprise]

New Phone - Decision making :
Surprisingly, this time around, Apple has borrowed ideas for its iPhone-X from Xiaomi's Mi Mix2, which might launch in India by Nov 2017. So, we can expect more manufacturers to come up with Bezel less phones in the month's to come with good battery endurance. I could spent money on "LG V20 (very good camera with replaceable battery) or LG G6 (THAT screen), or the still very good OP-3T or OnePlus killer Honor 8 Pro", and within few months some stunning phones will be out and I would be feeling like [frustration]

So, I decided to spend less money on a "Stop-gap-but-capable-phone" which can be offloaded to Wife or Daughter, after some months. Yesterday, I bought Xiaomi's Mi A1.

Quick Review on Mi A1:
It runs on our stock Android (7.1.2), has 4GB RAM, 64 GB Internal Storage, 5.5" FHD LCD screen, type C connector, 3000 mAh battery, full metal body, IR blaster (to operate TV and AC), and of course a Dual lens Primary (Rear) Camera. Currently it feels snappy, slippery (yet to get a cover) and has a solid. It cost me Rs.15,500, only Rs.500 over it's online price, at a nearby Sangeetha Mobile Store. Went for the Black Color.

Used EasyBackUp for transferring "SMS and Call Logs". Simple it was. Used SHAREit to transfer all the Apps from OP1.

Switched over to Nova Launcher, copied thaBackup file from OP1 to MiA1 and restored settings. So, "look wise my OnePlus One is replicated here", including my Desktop folders and Dock Layout. Hence, not feeling that I'm stuck up with a new Phone.

So far, I have used it for Telephony and SMS. Only when I start "browsing, Wording, PPT-ing, Excel-ing, ACAD-ing, use the Camera", I can really compare it to my OP1. Mi AOne seems to be okay, as of now.

Battery has come down from 100 to 19% in 15 Hrs with 5H 27M Screen on Time. Total CPU usage is 2H 30M.

PS: This could be my last post in this thread.
