Superbad the white sle looks hot . Do you have any idea if the sle model comes in full black . Some 1 told me black comes in 2 tone paint , I don't understand what mahindra has to lose if they make a complete black sle . Hope you are enjoying the ride and having fun wit the mighty truck. What was the on- road price for you ? Like other suggested pls pls go for a 2 din unit I know it can cost a little more but it's worth it . I have a freind who recently bought a lx black Scorpio and he has installed a 2 din unit it looks great and at the same time since he has installed a reverse camera also he gets a cool view when he is reversing ,I don't remember the speakers and amp he used but the entire thing cost him some 24,000 inr . Hope you enjoy every km of the mighty Scorpio when you drive.

sle model comes in 2 - tone colors.

in person the black 2-tone ones looks a beauty too.

black is considered an omen for us in the family so black was avoided.

but for looks 2 - tone is not that bad et all.

on road price for us was around 9.60L excluding insurance which was done by us through HDFC ergo.

the insurance costed us ~25k.

should it be done from the dealership? for avoiding warranty hassles.

though not in hurry but would like to know any opinions about them

If you get it done at dealership then the assistance will be in the mirror.

Outside you will get the assistance towards the left corner of dashboard, which is not that good.

Good move that you are going with extended warranty.

Its 9999/- to be precise.

But the travelling(to the dealer) and other expenses take it past 10k.
I was quoted 3.5k for doing the reverse parking sensors.
I think it is expensive.

Got autoform USLIM seat covers done to my seat.
Though it looks good, the skin fit covers have made the seat a bit stiff.
Installers mentioned that the covers would be soft with time.
Cost past 10k.

The cover is excellent, i liked it a lot.

Nice seat covers,
i have also gone for Autoform, seat covers and it costed me around 10.5K with installation.
I can see the middle row arm rest is not snugly fit (same with mime). Dont know the reason for this.

Good choice of colours in seat cover.
Yes the seat will become soft after 7-8 days of driving (but someone is suppose to sit on the covers) ...

well actually the middle row seats were not removed they were fit over it . this might be the reason for them not to be snug fit.


also the extreme left side seats were only used in the middle row hence i guess its bit loose there.

sat today and i felt now they are binding better.

also the speakers of the ICE are coming of their warm in period i guess, they are sound much loud even at volume levels 7 & above.

oops missed your fitting was only concerning the middle arm rest. it is due to the chain of that cover.
