Is the beast fine ? I hope no damage has done . Some months back same happened with my car the windshield broke and had many dents on the boonet too.By the way excellent choice of seat covers where in Mumbai did you install them ?

Hope there is no damage to windshield.
Scorpio's top is stronger, only a dent would have occurred i guess.

oops missed your posts .
all is fine upto now. those were small dents on the top.. the ski rack absorbed majority of the impact.
had gone for my first free service in goregaon.
it is an exclusive area where only XUVs and scorpios are being serviced.
had gone there @ 9.15 am. amidst a long queue of scorpios and xuv in for servicing.
will going by evening to check up the costs.
BTW approx costs engine oil @ 2100 [:surprise:]
complaints upto now.
the dicky door sensors is irregular. it does not detect whether the door is ajar or is open when unlocked.
if i just open the dicky door after unlocking the car gets auto locked after 30-40 seconds.
THE SA had acknowledged that.
apart from the left b- pillar door lever need setting. it does not open up when lever is pulled up. it opens up only when lever is at the extreme.
apart from that did a mum-goa trip between 5th to 9th june and had a pleasure ride along the NH 17.
no fatigue whatsoever. after seeing those new maruti ertigas and swifts skidding off the road and banging against the ghats in the first rains was a bit cautious on the road.
did seldom 110-120kmph on straights.
no where could i experience the "Scary handling"

not fixed till now.
the body cover was on the car when the brach fell. it resulted in cover being torn though :(
since the color hasnt come off we have postponed it to do it along with any new insurance claim whenever that happens

got back from the A.S.S.
all niggles have been sorted.
but the washing was lethargic.
DAD had to literally watch over the person to clean the stains in front of him.
SA was good and helpful though.
total bill.
Rs. 2506.
which include engine oil.
Oil filter. and differential oil.

a minor update.
got the underbody antirust treatment done.
also since its been 6 months now got a body exterior polished.
noticed some squeaks from the dicky door , so got to the G3 motors A.S.S and got it rectified.
the fault was nothing to mention , the lock padding might have got bent when i try to clean the top of my car.
got that rectified at no cost.
the A.S.S has now shifted to malad kaanchpada from goregaon, which used to service the XUVs along with the scorpios.
personally i feel the malad A.S.S is well organised and well staffed than the one at goregaon, where had to see a long queue of XUVs and scorpios, enough that the cars used to be parked on the service road.
the malad service centre in that regard is much better in terms of parking space and manpower.
The service advisor along with the sales staff during my purchase in G3 motors have all given in their papers now.![[roll]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Roll.gif "Roll Eyes [roll]")
so dealing with a new crowd but the experience has been good overall.

An yes,you are a bit too tall for clicking the pics,next time stand on your knees for clicking the pic,in the second pic the car is looking small.

its clean alright. but rains they just sprinkle water whenever i clean the car within minutes ![[frustration]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Frustration.gif "Frustration [frustration]")
will change to alloys whenever we switch to newer tyres.
i think the JKtyres are the noisiest of the lot after 100kmph.
so will do switch to yokos along with the alloys .
will remember your suggestion the next time i take photos.
