Read their posts again buddy, they are not surprised by Quanto's leading position, but are surprised how quickly it's votes doubled and tripled. Even I was surprised to see a sudden boost in Quanto's votes. But since this is an open public poll, such things can't be controlled.

The 3 series,Camry and Pajero are great cars but because they are charging a hefty amount for them. Not VFM so obviously did not expect them to win.
But the strome with its butch looks,nice interior and amazing off road capabilities lost to the quanto?
Yeah the quanto is the best in class but its just a chopped Xylo. The strome is a revolution, and I am proud that its Indian

‘The Automotive India Car of the Year’ trophy was today formally handed over to Renault India in New Delhi. It’s absolutely stunning that the virtual awards which were initiated only 3 Years ago in a little place known as internet have now took the physical form. Yet, our motto continues to remain the same: Enlightening the audience on truly the finest new car launch in India and the best part is that the judges are none but the audience itself. Thanks to all for blessing us with such a great support and enthusiasm. I would also like to congratulate Renault India for their brilliant achievement. Considering the response we have received in such a little time span, it shouldn’t be surprising if in the approaching time TAICOTY is considered as a serious benchmark in the automobile industry. Anyways, on a concluding note, this post will remain incomplete if I don’t thank our friend and fellow team member, Iron Rock, for his immense contributions in managing this edition of TAICOTY.
