I would like to know the criteria for becoming a master, so that lesser mortals like me can aspire to be one.

I think post count is not the only criteria.Maybe we should have to post some helpful threads and posts for becoming a master.

There are a certain defined criteria to be eligible to become a moderator. However I cannot reveal all but basic pre-requisite is active participation in terms of productive, helpful and friendly postings (Larger post count alone doesn’t work at all). The member must also obey all the board rules and assist forum members and team members alike. We’re consistently looking to include more members in the team to help The Automotive India grow better, and all the capable members are observed carefully, after which the short listing process is done (by entire existing team) and the new moderator works for a trial in the initial period.
