As you know, plus models have a better camera and battery, so get one if it falls within your budget. If you can, its better to get from the states.

Guys,is Galaxy S8 a good buy now as I’m planning to buy one.Just asking because S9 got released at ₹57900 hence thinking to go for S8 only if it comes at below ₹50K.Is it recommended to buy S8 now or shall I go for iPhone 7 or 8 or OP5T?
Guys,is iPhone SE a good buy even after it was released 2 years ago?I'm seeing prices of Rs.19000 in online like amazon and flipkart,hence asking.
Things has been changed a lot.Bought an iPhone SE 32GB in March 2018 for Rs.21200 and got an iPhone X 64GB as a gift from aunt from US within a week of buying iPhone SE but its used by my mom while I'm using iPhone SE.And,today itself,I had got a Nokia 6.1 Plus for dad as a secondary device while Oneplus 3 being his primary device.
I myself change my iPhone SE with iPhone XR or XS or 8 Plus in few months as I'm finding my SE's screen too small for me and upgrade my dad's OP3 to an iPhone as he will be keeping his new Nokia 6.1 Plus as his secondary device.

Back to square one.Now,planning to replace my SE as its screen became too small for my use and battery life has become poor.Now,Im considering Galaxy S10/S10+,Oneplus 7 Pro and iPhone XR/XS.I'm more inclined towards iPhone XR as its the best phone around Rs.60k and good battery life but few are suggesting me to go for Oneplus 7 Pro as its new and friends are saying to me that,why iPhone again?Go for an Android this time but I said I'm an iPhone lover forever and will never change to Android.My last Android phone was Nexus 5,which I bought it in 2014 and since then,I've been using iPhones only.
So,I might change from iPhone to OnePlus soon.Might buy a OnePlus 7 or 7 Pro as I find iPhones are expensive except XR,which is in my budget and got bored of using iPhones for 4 years.But,my only problem is,all my friends and cousins are using iPhones and if I change to OnePlus,I'll be the only one who will use OnePlus and Android phone.If I want to buy an iPhone XS or XS Max,I'll source it from US itself as it is Rs.30k cheaper than India.
But,if I change from iPhone to OnePlus,I'll be sure missing my iPhone as I got used to it so much.

Gurus, I want to buy a decent android phone which is not too expensive for my dad. I don't want the MIUI or custom ROM built phones and want to stick to the pure or stock android ones. I would be happy to keep the cost around 12K which is the phone you would suggest.

now for the more tangible criteria
Ram around 4 GB since (dad will not do cleaning of the phone regularly, installs and forgets the apps so 4 GB is what I want)
Memory around 32/64GB with option to expand.
Decent Screen size

Decent selfie camera. Don't need the high end ones.
OTG support is must.

What about Samsung M20? My dad is using a M30 and supremely happy. I guess M20 should be a good option for your budget too.
Nokia 6.1 plus is good one. Vinodji (@Nanofreak) is using one, I believe, and he has been happy with that unit.

I can also suggest the more higher version i.e. 8.1 which I'm using it since 3-4 months, but it has the price tag of 15,999. Nonetheless it is a very nice phone with lovely camera quality and stock android.

2. Snapdragon 710 chipset which is better than sd 660 offered in other competitors.
3. very good camera
4. Glass back which I personally like. That is reason I had initially purchase one plusX Sucker for glass.
To top it off Flipkart had offer for 14500

Upgraded to iPhone XS from iPhone SE finally after long research.
Hi folks. I’ve been using Moto Z2 Play and was fond of Motorola brand. However, unlike previous experience, this one didn’t turn out to be as sweet. So I’m looking for (untimely) switch. Please recommend a new cell in the range of Rs.30K. I might keep it for 4-5 Years, so the device should be reliable and age-well. I’m not inclined towards Chinese brands except OnePlus. How is OnePlus 7T? Does it make sense to buy a year-old model now?
