Yep, its the same, but I dont remember the brand name of bumper protector. It was not specifically Zests Bummper protector, I picked it because we have narrow parking .
Can you please check, which car model protectors did you choose? I don't want to end up buying one which does't fit in zest.

Also, if possible tell me the dimensions of protectors specially the width.

Thank you guys for helping with Chassis no / VIN
special thanks to Cherryleo for explaining the coding system of VIN. Now from that number it seems my car is October 2014 model (very latest but God knows free from mud in bay issue or not). However I am not sure when will it be delivered? I got that SMS from my dealer on 14th Nov. and today is 20th Nov. till now no sign of car delivery. In fact my banker has become more impatient then me and luckily he has kept the loan offer open so that I can switch dealer or even brand of the car too and amount also can be adjusted accordingly (lucky I am). The most unfortunate thing is by the end of Nov. to whole december I am extremely busy and most part will be out of station, I hope they deliver the car to me next week. If not next week, I started talking to my brother regarding consumer court option, he is a lawyer. Tata customer care people promised me action in 48 hrs, yesterday I would like to give them whole week though.

My passion for buying an Indian brand has been greatly dampened by Tata. I use almost all Indian made things like videocon LCD, videocon washing machine, Godrej refrigerator, godrej microwave, TVS scooty and Bajaj Discover etc. But Tata has really disappointed me among all those brands.,

Hi Lohith. I did notice the same stuff with the A/C. But I get it only when I set the temp 25* and above. I feel that it has something to do with the turbo charged engine which gets heated up quite fast and the insulation inside the bonnet to cover the heat from making it way inside the passenger bay is not enough protection.

Yup read that just now. So its better not to select the air blower for foot well vents when the temperature setting is above 25* C

It may be AC software issue. I drove to service center, they checked everything and concluded there is no insulation problem or no hole from engine bay to cabin/AC vents.
Hi guys,
this is related to those who are feeling hot air. I have read one of the owner in other forum team-bhp site he also faced but the maunal says all about this issue and this is conclusion . Read fully below I am just giving some information or helping still I have not owned vehicle.

"I got the delivery of my zest today. While driving home after work, I put the climate control at 27degC. The traffic at dairy circle is dense, so soon enough the engine temperature had risen up. To my surprise,an air vent near my leg started blowing hot air. But from the face vents the air was cool enough. Any zest owner face the same thing? The owners manual doesn't say anything about this.
You would have put the Aircon in Auto mode. Also the outside temperature must be lower than the 27 deg that u set inside so it automatically began to blow hot air in the footwell.

For cold climates its best to have warm air directed at your feet so all automatic Aircon systems will behave similarly. In all probability the Aircon would have also switched to Fresh Air mode as well if it was in Recirculate mode.

This is standard behaviour and you need not worry about it. Sure, there should be a proper explanation in the Owners manual which is normally missed out."

Manual says like this :

Please ignore me if you have already checked this one Just thought to share [:)]

I got the Zest body protectors and Bumper protectors from Tata Showroom itself. From Concorde Motors, Dairy circle, Bengaluru. They fit well and even look good. Will try to post the pics and a small review at the earliest

Hello Atindra,

I can understand your pain during the waiting period. I also went through it. But believe me, once you get the car in your hand, you will start praising the car and TML for developing such a wonderful car. This would be a worthy wait. I am loving my days with Zest XT revotron from last 4 days. Its awesome. Hope you get the vehicle soon and start enjoying your time with it.

Thanks for the information. How come showroom one cost Rs. 250? Is it the zest one or some other model?

I received a call yesterday from the showroom, spot approval is for loan from any of the bank we want.
but i do not see any need for that as waiting time is so long for the car so even if loan gets delayed , no issue.

This is something good. But I am sure there will be some hidden agenda like some extra charge/ higher interest or something like that

I haven't got any call from TML, I have booked last month. Is this for new customers or for about to delivery customers !!!!

I don't think so they will do extra charge!!! May be customer attraction or Marketing strategy and by bookings they can hold the customers later they will release the vehicles.

If you get a spot approval from SBI (which is the current payer with the lowest int rate 10.45%) then consider yourself to be lucky. If it is from the private commercial banks (icici, hdfc, axix etc), then guys you better do the math.
By the way, my FE meter is not going above 9.5 KMPL. I usually drive with the A/c on full time within the city. is it quite normal???
