As vipul said, roll has nothing to do with the type of construction. Monocoque has a better tortional rigidity, in simple words - is more resistant to twisting effect (mainly felt during cornering).
BUT then stiff chassis alone doesnt make a crisp handler. Damping ratio, rebound settings, suspension geomerty, steering geometry, track to wheelbase ratio etc should be spot on. Sadly neither TATA, nor Mahindra have mastered that. They are close though.
