Lol , hahaha that was a good one.

@ vignesh

You seem quite tall , if you don't mind what is your height ? Did you have any issues regarding the steering touching your thighs.
I'm 6 ft exact and I do not have the thigh touching steering problem.this is because I ingress and egress by sliding onto theseat and no problems. When I drive with feet stretched onto pedals there is no touching. But tata could've given a notch extra to slide the steering further up to help people with thicker thighs.
It's not a dealbreaker

@wanderlust:

Congratz man! Slim man with muscle car.

My suggetions for WANDERLUST

kindly the change the oil by 5000Kms

Use synthetic Oil only to increase the life of your engine don't fully go by the Advice of the TASS people the engine in inital stages tends to get heated more.

If you want your engine to be smooth and silent don't Rev or make sudden acceleration

The torque will be sufficient and hence don't go to the first gear unless you come to an complete stop.

Man O Man , could not rate the thread yet .Bcoz I felt that it is not a thread but a poem.
May I suggest a new name for your storme- ' Bronze Indian Mamba'
If you ask me what I liked about storme ? .Answer lies in my following post. And I expect similar experience gets repeated if I happen to sit in your Storme .

When it comes to changing and cutting lanes on 2 way roads visibility does matter.

Fellow TAI n Sanjaysg , has demonstrated to me how easy it is for him to do zigzag lane changing at considerable speeds in pune traffic (worst discipline) like a BLACK AFRICAN MAMBA by virtue of visibility of the approaching parts of big/small vehicles closer to bonnet.
So finally wheather people liked it or not , wanderlust's storme has arrived after a long period of silence ! Congrats.

This colour has changed my perception about the new safari, earlier I hated the front looks and the removed tyre with white colour. But, with this colour it looks absolute beast from all corners. Congratulations.

And what a wonderful ownership review and being the first one here it's unique, rating it with 5 stars.

Congrats for your storme.

Wishing you many happy miles with it.

Do post some bigger pictures.
No offense but the pictures you posted hardly did any justice to the size of the vehicle .
They looked like scaled down models.

Thanks bro.I'll take your advice definitely.
What is the best way to run in the engine in the initial stages? Should I keep it below some speed/rpm for first 1k?

Congracts for your strome, any plans for alloys? Colour is like :O
Alloys are definitely coming up.[:D] Concorde guys kept cleaning my car for three hours and the wait was too much with the beast in sight.couldn't wait any longer during my delivery for them to fit alloys also.so grabbed the steering and zipped away.[evil]
For the Ex upholstery and colour seat covers are a must.so are floor mats.waiting for my partner in crime ,hillbilly to get his beast so that we can attack accessories together.

Try to get stock leather seat covers of vx , it is the best and world class quality leather for seating purpose , skin and wheather friendly.I have checked its inner surface by inverting the edges of seat cover., also colour would complement the beige of the ex.

Personaly I like the biege-black combo for the interiors. It looks good, feels airy and keep away some of the dirt than a full biege interior. Can we get a biege and black interior in vx trim..
