At last dealer called me today morning and confirmed my VX 4x4. Hopefully will launch in Kerala on 22nd December. Waiting for that function / moment to get the key of launching vehicle. What is the use of them just watching it if they don’t take any suggestion/feedback from it in to consideration .They certainly didn’t do it at least when it mattered the most, during the pre-launch period.
All storme owners, please don't mess around with OEM fitments/electricals and let it run with whatever it came with, if you want a stress-free ownership.

@Superbad, what is wrong if people are excited in TAI about storm, if it is limited upto TAI according to you then, its a problem of your eye sight I hope, if you want to experience that how the excitement level is going on, then just visit a nearest TATA dealer in Mumbai or wait till it gets launched in Hyderabad and I will show you how people are excited about it

Boss this not about incorporating features , ( which i agree they should have listened pre launch ) they are watching it for feedback , any niggles and they will be watching it across the web , since our forum has max number of owners they will be here just to see if the given product is running well or if there are any kind of issues .
Mahindra did that too with xuv , and improved the future batches with whatever feedback they got , for example clutch , brakes . Infotainment system .

Hi Guys,
Its been a long weekend for me! Got the Storme home on Saturday and I am totally in love with it!
The Storm so far:-
-Bought it from Cargo motors Ahmedabad.
-Rs 10,85,000 ex Showroom Ahmedabad
-Rs 12,08,000 on road.
-No discounts were offered as its a new launch vehicle.
-Delivered within a week of booking it.
-I got a Pearl Champagne - EX.
-The color is interesting as it looks different under different light conditions. Also the beige interiors compliments the exterior color.
-There are no accessories available so far in the market. So could not get the floor mats and other bits.
-The drive and handling of the Storme is really good.
-Very comfortable to drive around in the city.
-Taking turns is not at all difficult. Turning radius is good too!
-Reversing can be a bit tricky due to the blind spot at the back. Due to its height one can not see what is parked/an obstacle right behind. You could easily knock down a two wheeler parked behind!
-The sensors in the VX would eliminate this issue. I plan to instal a rare view camera to tackle this issue.
-It has a great acceleration compared to its huge size.
-The cabin is, as we all know, very spacious.
-The steering wheel is positioned too low and touches the legs. This would proves to be a hindrance when getting in and out of the car for someone with long legs.
-No engine noise inside the cabin.
-Gear shifts are smooth.
-I noticed that when wearing a long or broad toe shoes, the leg some times gets stuck between the clutch pedal and the lower side of the dash board. Did any one else notice this? Or may be I just need to get used to the new position of this car... ( in comparison to my Indica and Willys Jeep)
-Head lamps are quite powerful.
-AC is great.
-The fuel lid open switch is placed along with the power window switches, on the driver side door hand rest. One can accidentally open the fuel lid while operating the power windows.
-I am yet to figure out the exact mileage but so far In my opinion it is quite nice.
I will keep you posted for more as and how the Storme unwinds itself! Will post pics... hope fully soon!

Booked Storme 2 months back as i want the first storme to be launched in Kerala region. Hopefully will launch on 22nd December. The delivery will be within few days after launch. Damn Excited !!!!
