Wait until the Auto Expo in January. Hope they will bring some surprises..!! "Change is the only thing without change". They must change themselves. Pull up their socks. Move forward. Mission Horizon Next is on..!! [clap]

Also what is good is that, the turbo petrol engine is getting mentioned in each and every news. So its close to reality. [:D] I really wish to know the fortune of that 1.05 L DiCOR engine shown at the 2012 EXPO. [:)]

It is not Swift like but taken from Aria/Storme I believe. The dash pattern is same as Manza.

Re: Tata Falcon Hatchback & Compact Sedan To Debut at Auto Expo

Its now almost confirmed, Falcon 4 is not what we are seeing in pics:

Tata Motors has several plans for 2014 including updates to existing cars and new vehicle launches. The 2014 Auto Expo is going to see several interesting things from the house of Tata Motors (JLR included). We all know about the Falcon 4 (all new hatchback) and Falcon 5 (all new sedan) which are all new products to be showcased at the biennial event. The Falcon 4 and Vista Tech are different products and the updated Vista has been spotted on several occasions in India and recently in Turin, Italy.

The Vista Tech isn’t all new but a re-engineered Vista with a more appealing design. Not only have the exteriors seen a revision but even the interiors are vastly changed, taking heavy inspiration from the Hyundai i20. Tata Motors will incorporate other learnings from the D90 project which means the Vista Tech will have excellent brakes and improved NVH. The Falcon 4 (which is just an internal codename currently) will sit above the Vista Tech when it’s launched later this year.

Even though Tata Motors has worked on making the Vista Tech look fresh, the overall profile of the car remains the same while the headlight is very similar in profile to the current Vista. The rear no longer features christmas tail lights but the side is almost identical to the old model. A new ‘Chill Blue’ colour will debut on the car and the Vista Tech will be powered by the existing 1.3-litre Quadrajet diesel engine. The 1.4-litre TDI engine isn’t being offered, at least not initially. The company will soon announce a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and is set to announce something big on the 3rd of February. The Vista Tech will be launched in the next couple of weeks.

So, basically, what we were anticipating that Falcon4 and falcon 5 are entirely different products, is true. what we are seeing online are infact facelifted Vista aka Vista Tech.[clap]

I am now all the more eager to see the falcons both 4 and 5.[clap]

Don't know what tech is in store in this Tata Vista Tech, some changes to the exteriors would have served better.Assuming this tech to be well equipped and priced accordingly, where are they going to position the all new Falcon HATCH ?

BTW, scope for another thread, dedicated to the new 'tech'[;)]

Re: Tata Falcon Hatchback & Compact Sedan To Debut at Auto Expo

TATA Vista tech will be a well equipped Value product [clap]
Tata Motors will be launching the Vista Tech soon, which is a new variant of the car that replaces the now discontinued D90. We have now got our hands on the brochure of the Vista Tech will spills out all the details of the vehicle, although we have already briefed you earlier on all the changes to the car. The Tata Vista will now be available in 4 variants (2 variants per engine and two engines are being offered). The TDI and Quadrajet 75 are the engines on offer with both offered in the base LS trim while the top-end variant on the TDI motor is LX and the top-end trim on the Quadrajet 75 mill is the VX Tech. The Quadrajet 90 tune isn’t offered on the Vista anymore and we expect it to surface on the Falcon 4 hatchback which is due for unveil next month.
Since the Tata Vista Tech is the replacement of the Vista D90, it carries all the features from it. This includes the dashboard from the Manza which puts the instrument cluster where it belongs, right in front of the driver. The Vista Tech also gets a driver information system which displays instantaneous mileage, average fuel efficiency, digital clock and distance to empty. The car comes with a multimedia touchscreen system with GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, audio video playback, USB, AUX, CD, etc. The company calls its Bluetooth system as Blue 5 Technology.
The Tata Vista Tech retains the Indica’s strong merits of spacious interiors and good ride quality. The vehicle comes with dual tone interiors. The 1.3-litre Quadrajet engine produces 75 PS of power and 190 Nm of torque. The tagline of the Vista Tech is “Designed To Thrill” and the car is offered in four colours namely grey, white, silver and a new chill blue. The exteriors get the Tech badging along with some graphics below the front windows. Expect the Vista Tech to be priced aggressively to help it capture some market share before the Falcon arrives later this year.
