I just wish that along with these new products lining up in their portfolio, tata motors also works upon their dealership network and their ASS.I am not complaining but wishing they improve it same as they are with their products.
With a nice cars like vista, manza, safari, aria people go away from tata cause of dealership attitudes of we dont care, not intrested to sell you car things which i have experienced and lot many have too.
This putsoff buyers to invest in their good products.
Along with sales team their servicing team too.I hope they would have worked upon this too.
Looking at these two new cars, the quality and improvements it has shown as we see from the pictures, shows what karl was upto making tata motors reach with his vision.

Re: Tata Reveals Bolt Hatchback & Zest Compact Sedan (Coverage: Page 10)

this is really a signature design by TATA, hyundai Grand i10Xcent gets thumps down and zest continues to steal the show,
Xcent is not impressive as other cars of hyundai.
Absolutely true, I have checked the XCent pictures both interiors and exteriors. The Zest is absolutely striking, and scores over Xcent in all respects except the rear ac vents.

Kudos to Tata. While Xcent looks like any other car from hyundai stable, Zest looks like fresh european car hitting indian shores. Way to go Tata.[clap]

I guess I am bloating as if I have designed Tata cars but I think, these manufactures have underestimated Tata this time atleast.

Still, it is seen what is the capability of Zest and Revotron, XCent can leverage the i10Grand legacy.

I beg to differ, just today I visited Tejaswi motors for my colleague who has to buy a Tata car and We TD'd Safari Dicor, Tata Manza, Tata Storme, and yet to TD aria.
We have received great reception from Sales people and have loved the way, they have treated us. I had similar experience with them and Concorde motors when I purchased my car 6 months ago.

Now,Tata had made it finally.Bolt looks are superb. And,Zest, rear looks like a Ford Classic. But,it is better than Classic and Hyundai Xcent and interiors are best for any Tata vehicle.Maruti and Honda,be ready with this.

@ vibhor

Excellent coverage .

Some questions to you since you have seen the car in metal .
Thanks. Tata changed the venue and didn’t inform us. So I had to rush from one point to another and then attend Ford’s launch. I could have brought in more otherwise.

1) how do the cars look in real ? Do they give a budget or premium look ?
Both the cars sure do look far better than the counterparts they’re based on. I welcome Tata’s new designing sense. Zest’s taillamps remind me a sort of Kizashi.

2) how is the quality of the interiors and exteriors ?
The interiors left me amazed as I soon as saw the cars. Manza’s tagline “A class apart” now fits well. Yet, I must also point out that there are still some rough edges.

3) do you think the bolt can give tough to swift , i19 grand , micra look , design and features wise ?
Bolt is anyday superior to predecessor but at the end of the day, it's still using Vista’s shell. I’d prefer something sportier. Hopefully Tata must be having some long-term plans.

Re: Tata Reveals Bolt Hatchback & Zest Compact Sedan (Coverage: Page 10)

here few changes tata let down in TATA BOLT & ZEST

they redesigned most of the parts from vista's parts bin but they should have to redesign door bads too they just directly lifted from vista's door bads we know that vistas door pads are not able to hold single water bottle in their pockets they are too small [frustration]

another big feature they are missed noways its very attractive usefull feature we are seen Honda Amaze and Grand i10 that is AUTO fold ORVM's its missing in TATA BOLT and TATA ZEST [surprise]

these few changes tata need to consider in final production version car.

For me Hyundai xcent is already felt boring and ford figo compact sedan looks too compact, totally not interested on these CS after seeing ZEST. Zest stole my full attention.

Very true about the dealership experience with Tata's. I had to try out at two different dealers before finally settling with Prerana motors when I got my Nano last year.

The experience with service was exactly opposite for me. Due to proximity, I took my Nano to KHT, and to my surprise the service was really very good. The supervisor ensured that all my queries were resolved and delivery was spot on time.
