Pros -
Heavily loaded with all necessary Gizmos .
Interior quality looks absolutely nice (4 stars)
Cons
Similarity to Indigo/vista

If TML don't flop in pricing it correct this is a contender.

Some sources said that TATA BOLT on lauch with REVOTRON engine they dont want to launch with TATA BOLT QuadraJet early due to avoid from fleet operators now its cleared that TATA with afraid with fleet operators and they dont want to be fleet car manufacture.

they are going to launch 1st TATA ZEST around june-july period and around september-november they launch TATA BOLT REVOTRON after 6-months later they launch "BOLT" Diesel Version.

Kerb weight for Bolt is 1080 kgs..!! Same as that of swift. Old Vista weighs 1140 Kgs..
60 Kgs less.. [clap] That's great news..!!! [;)]
yes thats because of all new suspension setup and new E-PASS system they changed alot to reduce the weight of the car.

Excellent and professional coverage Vibhor and team TAI. [clap]

The fit and finish of Bolt and Zest are truly amazing and hardly you can find any panel gaps.

The interior material also seems to be quite premium. And the HU ... [cheers]

Only thing not captured in the pics is the boot space for Zest, hope if some one can post.

Any word of the pricing ?

One other thing I noticed is that paint quality of Tata cars have improved in leaps and bound starting with Manza, then Vista and then Storme/Aria.

Bolt and Zest seem to have taken it to the next level. From Pics of Bolt and Zest, the Red coloured paint used is at par with Merc hatch (A-class). The finish of these cars is at par with VW Vento/ polo.

Interiors are like Polo Vento, taking the competition to the next level.

The cars are also All new.

Tata have done everything that they could possibly do, now remains the part of pricing. I feel should start with low price and then gradually start charging premiums. I remember, Polo started with Tag of around 4.5L (Correct me if I am wrong) and now, a fully loaded Polo cost cost close to 10L.

Tata should reverse their pricing strategy start low and then increase rather than price High and then give hefty discounts, tarnishing the product image in the process.

If I am not wrong Tata shares the Paint shop with Fiat still and that is why paint quality is same in Manza and Linea

Thanks, the boot is as big as the old Indigo (not CS).

Great work by tata. Cars looks great inside out. Interior quality is awesome, looks way ahead of Marutis. In close up pictures we can make out the very nice interior textures. While they redid the exterior styling, they should have changed that smiling grill section too; reminds me too much of Indica/Vista.

In One Word... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

TATA MOTORS take a BOW!

Sad that Karl is not around to see the success these cars!

I will risk saying that these will become the benchmark for others to compete.

Tata has once again made us Indian's proud!

jai ho!!

this is really a signature design by TATA, hyundai Grand i10Xcent gets thumps down and zest continues to steal the show,
Xcent is not impressive as other cars of hyundai.

The know fact is that TATA provides paint shop for Mercedes Benz cars in india from 1990's onwards thats the reason tata cars paint qualitys feels munch better then others [clap]

Its glad to see that finally Tata had learnt to make good cars (not just 5 seaters). [clap]. Great effort by Karl Slym and Tata guys. They should rename it as Tata Slym or something like that to honour the efforts by Karl Slym.
