Re: Tata Nano To It's Best - Multi Stage Modifications

Should i answer this? தொழில் ரகசியங்கள்
yes do answer me the தொழில் ரகசியங்கள். யாருகிட்டேயும் சொல்ல மாட்டேன்
very nice to type in tamil. i donno what the admins gonna do for this
tn-74 this is kanyakumari registration
tn 74 x - this is marthandam rto registration (it starts from "u" till "z")
tn-74 s- nagercoil rto registration (A to S)

recently they have started AA and the first 4999 numbers to nagercoil and rest to marthandam ( i donno all these clearly- only twice i have gone to RTO office that too for my license :P)

That under-body lights(Neons?) is a great sight to see i wondered what that little thing's gonna do in the previous pics where you had posted. But this is great.

P.S change the door lamps color to green to match up with the under body lights know?

that is a CFL light most commonly seen in RTC buses. BTW i will be changing the blue LEDs to RED.let it be a door open warning light. i have mentioned about this earlier- it switches off when all doors are closed. And also KERALA POLICE will fine us 100rs(especially TAMILNADU CARS) if some bling blings found on car[frustration]

OOps , i though its like py / chennai/trichy where a number denotes a city and series is district wise...

Thanks for clarification!

For the neon/green thing , a strip of green LED at either sides will do the job perfectly with no worries about waters/damage etc.

Re: Tata Nano To It's Best - Multi Stage Modifications

hey awesome looking nano, trust me u've almost convinced me to get one and start modifying it - exterior & engine. The smoked taillights if i am not mistaken are done by using a jet balck sheet of window tint. Some people use matt black spray paint but not feasable. What u've got is good n useable as well. @ illango- good job bro. Also if u go for a woofer with a built in amp or an individual set up, the batt is going to suffer anyways. However if u want pls research about a capacitor with illango and then probably go for the install.... @ mumbai boys: the tube dat is used under the car for lighting is available for 300 rs in the colour blue, green, white.

Re: Tata Nano To It's Best - Multi Stage Modifications

some more pics of underbody lightings.
the blue lights on door glows only when the doors are open.

@ilango i got flashers inside reverse light , connected it to park lamps.
Me too had this CFL setup long back, but it did not last even a month, as my car's ground clearance is low it was hit by a hump and broke..
How have you fixed it.. wont it touch the humps?

Hi , did you enquire about the alternator capacity of your car..as you are increasing the electrical load !! [cry]

Flashers good. One suggestion, place the flashers under body (extreme sides) it will look good..

OT: What about OBD for my car, did you test..

i have fixed it in between the fuel tank and chassis. it is in the level of fuel tank. so it wont touch the ground. and also nano has high ground clearance

@varun this same obd works on my mechanic's wagonR. shows rpm. i will gibe the ebay link of the product. you can ask the seller about this alsohttp://www.ebay.in/itm/Koolertron-ELM-327-OBDII-PC-Car-Diagnostic-Scanner-WUG-/270925918003?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item3f14716f33#ht_4289wt_905

it supports protocol ISO 9141 . this is nano's. try googling 800's protocol.and check with the protocol that the device supports
note: each protocols have specific function. example: nano's protocol gives 8 data where as hyundai i10's give 10 data. in nano it doesnt give rpm sometime i'm not sure if the problem is with device or car or software
