its mettalic black roof. now approx mileage is 30kmpl on highways with ac. tested 0-60km in a near by 4 track highway. its 7.11 sec. this timing is good for a 624 cc engine or can be increased?
in manual 0-60 is 12 sec.

(actually 0-60 means. the time taken to touch 60km starting from 0 right? i checked with android app spedometer. it uses GPS for speed trackin, and my friend used a stop watch too almost similay.)

what is the 0-60 for other cars will be?

SAi : Dont know for other cars. But, My city is the fastest of all my cars. You can search the net. The roof scoop looks nice. What about painting it in some other colour to make it look more visible. Sorry, But i feel it is not straght (Aligned), I is curved to Right side, OR is it the angle of taking shot, Please confirm. What about racing stripes? I saw a Light blue nano with Light Grey racing stripes which were two fat lines and two thin lines on outward corners. It had interior Underdash LED in Blue colour and Alloy wheels and some Dark Black with Blue angel eye'd projectors. The horn was also great (Roots Windtone). There was light inside rear wheels! AWESOME! It was looking HOT!
JIHU : Buddy, I have only tried in city and alto which are both low height (i mean not tall as WagonRs, NAnos,etC), So, it was quite fun to do. There was no chance of rolling IMHO, my cars were FWD. IN RWD, One has to be really careful. Be cautious in tall cars, My friend has once got his scorpio on 2 wheels, Almost at the verge of flipping, while doing reverse 360.

What I meant to say, was that it is not safe in a nano.
I have seen many vehicle flipover, mainly SUV/MUV's like Safari & Xylo!

I have to dig up some of my acceleration tests. I never have used the 0 - 60kph figures. I will come back on this. However, the book times are usually not out of the reality. So,you mighthave a good time.

Still, the engine performance can be increased. My only worry is that with a lot more power the engine bay temperature might increase. To combat it ceramic coating would be on the cards. Exhaust wrap is not really an alternative as the monsoon will make sure water is trapped in there leading to exhaust system cracking.

buy it as soon as possible :P

@LXI updated the scoop . painted it white. and the pic was taken before the works.
BTW no idea of changing to projectors. i have bosh sounds like windtone.
@Jihu i guess you saw a scorpic flip in youtube

@lxi if possible get the pic of that nano.

@ilango. now it sound like ape auto. if i make a hole then it will be like chennai autos [lol]

all works completed and got it delivered by 10:30 pm!

now what all pics you want to see?

have you done something on engine side?? how you can rip this much out of only 1 ltr of petrol ??

P.S. very very good mods on nano.
i was only planning to get one nano, but after reading this much of mods by you, i am going to get a test drive it today only [:)]

i was only planning to get one nano, but after reading this much of mods by you, i am going to get a test drive it today only

Didn't do anything on engine . i just shift gears properly as mentioned in the manual and the mileage is for highways only with constant speed. for city i get 23 to 25 kmpl max. and do take a TD asap
