Re: Tata Aria Pride Ownership Review – TAI’s First!

Finally, the much awaited pics [;)]. Excellent pictures and love the way you have captured them, especially the storage space, with the lids open and those lights on the sun visor. TATA sure has taken, the smallest of things into consideration and the long list of features, simply makes this an all-rounder. Congrats again buddy.

How do you enable the 4x4 on this? (I noticed the 4x2 button on the center-console)

OT : Not many Aria's around yet in B'lore. Is there any production constraint?

Thanks Avindu , just turn OFF the 4X2 button to turn the vehicle into 4X4 mode.

Even i have not seen many Aria's in Chennai! Don know what's the issue , are people afraid to invest so much in TATA or is the waiting period making them think. I myself waited two months to get this car.

Yeah ! That is where TATA Scores.

I wish to quote one of the movie dialogue here "Enna patha odunay pidakathu paaka paaka thaan pidukum" which translates to "You will not like me at first sight, you will start loving me at repeated occurences " [glasses]

Cool pictures ,

Yeah zinam , a small meet up ! like the one you came for diesel micra.

We went to old port for some pictures.

the aria was fun to drive , except for the steering wheel position or steering wheel design. cant comment on them

i switched on the 4x4 in normal road and the nose was heavy than the 4x2 model

the audio was better , atleast far good than the manza oe audios

lot of space! and interior colour option were cool.

Re: Tata Aria Pride Ownership Review – TAI’s First!

Hey dhaya nice set of pics.[:)]
I really loved the interiors.
But the middle row looks like little cramped to you.
Was the front co-driver's seat moved fully back?

And what does Adapterra means?
Is this a Full time 4WD like fortuner?
Can be 4WD used on tarmac.
Any issues with this?

On the instrument cluster i can see Glow plug.
So how is the cranking of Aria?

Re: Tata Aria Pride Ownership Review – TAI’s First!

May be due to dhaya size , it looks cramped.
yeah , he had pulled the co driver seat to max rear position

the cabin was airy.

had it been beigh it may look huge.
No its not full time 4wd. you have a simple switch.
yeah free from hub locks, mechanical shifts etc etc

i used the 4 wd in normal road when he came here , only the nose felt heavy i mean in the steering.

Till now that is the only aria i have driven

Re: Tata Aria Pride Ownership Review – TAI’s First!

@ Zinam LOL , agree with you!

@ Ilango Thanks! I would have loved to have beige interiors , TATA missed the trick here!

@ Mukesh Thanks buddy! Looks like Ilango answered all your questions already. Anyways my views too. Yeah front seats are pushed back fully. I am 6'3" tall and still i was able to atleast sit inside with my knees only brushing the seat slightly! In most of the cars i cant sit at the back with front seats even in normal position! And no 4X4 is only optional not full time like Fortuner! I think there are no issues using 4X4 in tarmac except for the slightly lesser FE. And cranking of Aria real smooth , a huge improvement over Safari! Very very minimal body shake and no rattles anywhere inside!

Re: Tata Aria Pride Ownership Review – TAI’s First!

Why i mentioned cranking was, If glow plug is present you cannot crank subsequently and have to wait for atleast 5 seconds to crank again.
If the fuel doesn't fire in the 1st crank.

How did you correct this panel gap?

Any more updates on your ownership?
