My advice is don’t change the rear speakers.
Instead add a set of very good full range speakers in the boot.
This way you can fill sound all over.
I got a set of polk MM691 and get it installed them in the boot.
Will post the photos on my thread soon

Hi All,

Minor update on the beast,

Vehicle is about to cross 50K mark.
Niggles: There were some and almost all were resolved.

Mileage: Has settled down to 12-13 KMPL in Delhi Gurgaon peak hour traffic with AC on.

Best Mileage achieved so far is 20 KMPL on a stretch of 50 Kms from Neemrana to Delhi at an average speed of around 70 KMPH without AC.

Will post a detailed review of last 50K kms once it will pass that mark and share a lots of pics again of my adventures which I have had with the beast.

20 KMPL... did u push your car for 25 KMS?
Ha ha ha ha

A good one

No actually I test drove it on NH-8 on my way back from Neemrana, I thought I should give it a try for maximum mileage, so drove it sedately for around 50 KMS at the speed of around 70 KMPH and without AC and windows close.

So voila I manage to get 19-20 KMPL in that stretch.

On a regular highway drive at around 90 KMPH following are the figures which I have got:

Delhi Neemrana Delhi (NH8 ) around 15-16 KMPL
Panchkula Delhi NH1 around 17 KMPL
Delhi Agra Delhi via Expressway with stints of 170 KMPH around 15.6 KMPL

Delhi Gurgaon Delhi daily commute in peak hours around 12-13 KMPL

Yes I forget to mention the worst mileage which I have achieved in the vehicle
is around 8KMPL and that happened last Friday when all of a sudden the rain god come with his flurry of water on delhi on a Friday morning in peak hours and I reached my office in just 3 hours 50 minutes instead of just 1 hour 30 minutes.

Note: Generally Tata vehicle gives reasonable good mileage, especially on highways, if driven sensibly.

Please help me deciding on aria. Is it advisable buying aria ? Please help im confused between storme and aria.
Hi Shail,

Good you want to a buy any one of the said vehicles, the final call will be yours and that should be based on your usage and mindset. Here are some of the points you should keep in mind before buying any one of the above:

1.) Usage: Monthly kms usage, places to visit and how many people will be travelling.

2.) Looks: Subjective but Storme and Aria has similar ground clearance but due to overhangs Aria has less off road capabilities as compared to Storme.

3.) Maintenance: Both are same but parts availability is much easier for storme as compared to Aria.

4.) Ride Quality: Almost same

Rest is on you both are very good vehicles and will take you miles.

If you want luxury and lots of electronics. Then aria is the choice.
I feel aria gives you extremely good ride quality.
The way it handles the bumps is just loveable.
You get the feeling of sitting in a multy axel buss lol

Please help me deciding on aria. Is it advisable buying aria ? Please help im confused between storme and aria.

Thanks a lot for the reply. But i like Aria's suspension, storme has a stiffer suspension. Any idea of what discounts can be availed on ARIA now ??

@Sbhokray, how is the last row of ARIA, by pushing the middle row forward, can the last row people seat comfortably ??
Don’t expect to have comfort in last row like innova and the xilo.
The aria has a lot better seat then the other competitors.
Yes you can slide the middle seat to provide good amount of legroom to the last seat.
To answer your question. Two adults can sit comfortably in the back row. Again not as comfortable like innova and the xilo.
Feel free to contact me for any clarifications.
