TAI's Chennai Meet: Action from Page 13!

Zinam post the pictures and detailed report
I give mine , i am in a hurry ,just log in to check is tai is ok . Its fine now.
12.03 exact i was at vgp , surendar was waiting ,
exactly at 12.25 other 3 , zinam , dhaya , racerdappa came.
had a small discussion there , captured a Benz cls there . racer and Surendar went in bike to capture it.
Then we went to pine tree areas , had a good photo shoot , almost blocked the road.
Then again towards Mamallapuram , stop at 'Adayar sea food' restaurant for lunch .
Had a good lunch there and took a return route .
Again a small stop at the road side. lined up cars and took some picture. Then had a good long discussion , only about cars and cars.
After that the group dismissed .
It was a wonderful meet.
i did not have any cam , so sorry no pics from my side.

Exclusive Chennai Meet - 17th Jan 2010
Well! Here we go with the official report!
Exactly by 10.15am I msged everone for the initial kick-off.
I went to meet Cooldhaya & Racerdabba. Its just 2 mins from my home. We had a small meet there & revved up from there!
Catched the chennai bypass which is 22kms neat strech, Dhaya & Debayan (Racerdabba) raced away at 120+kmph while i was enjpying my pleasant drive at 80kmph (may be fuel efficient :-) ).
We took another bypass to reach the ECR & we reached the venue exactly 12.25pm. But Surendar & Ilango made it to the venue at the said time exactly! Since we had few stops in between for few reasons we couldn't meet at time! All the cars were parked in series.
A neat smile in everyone's face with a very warm greet, all said Hi to everyone & introduced themselves. And there it started. Surendar & Debayan started chasing a Benz S class, which was going in other direction! We all were suprised to see the spirit of surendar. An avid passion towards luxury cars!
We moved for a photoshoot from VGP. This place is one of the nice place in chennai. lot of pine trees - A perfect place for meet under the shades. We offroaded all the soft wheelies & get inside the forest. All cars took their way & my tripod took its stance.
We again spoke lot about cars & surendar started telling the cars with their regd. Nos. Again a personal inroduction of members & Debayan signed off as he was to meet some officials regarding his project. It was 1.45pm & we are all ready for the first official lunch.
Moved 16kms away from the location & reached Mahabalipuram. Adayar Ananda Bhavan was the place we choosed & we parked the cars in array for another shoot there. Dropped in & had a good lunch there. Spotted an modded Lancer & Audi Q5 & surendar has gone crazy this time too. He started taking snaps of the cars around.
We started travelling towards chennai again & reached a spot for rest. Had nice talks for sometime & finally shaked hands for Good Bye. I can't say its good bye, its actually a warm welcome & greet for the next meet!
