TAI's 3rd Banglore - Chennai Meet on 28th September at Yelagiri

The earlier we start, lesser the chaos before crossing Hosur. Road widening and flyover construction happening there. And RTO is right next to these constructions which causes a huge pile up of other state trucks parked right on the road. So it takes longer time if we start late.

May be we can meet up in the designated spot around 6 AM. But if we say 6 AM, everyone will able to start only around 6:30 and will/may be stuck in Hosur chaos.

Yes we can meet right after the elevated toll way. Once we come out of elevated tollway, there is a traffic signal. From the signal enter the service road and we can wait there for others to join. The roads from Attibele toll to Hosur was in very bad shape. I will confirm the road conditions this weekend.

So if we start early we can escape the mad traffic due to horrible roads/diversions. If we can be there in the marked location as attached in the map, we can start from there as a group. View attachment 108953

And I don't think anybody will get confused. And the road near the check post (Ashok Leyland) is in a bad shape, but its only for few meters.

Good Work Ram. Also, everyone to notice the statement in Bold above. It's on Service Road. Remember last time, we all were on the Main Road and was not able to wait there due to traffic and bus stand.

B'lore guys decide by yourself and assemble at the safe point, so that we can start our day without any pressure :)

I'm so hating my office for missing this meet.

Even I too have a day outing in Office on the same day, but I mentioned some weird reason to them to attend our TAI meet

Roads around Hosur are bit disturbed these days. I had a hard time crossing that at around 7am. Lots of diversions, trucks/buses jammed, long queues in 3-4 continuous tolls. Probably that's the reason we are keeping it early.

PS: Guys, remember to carry enough cash. We have some 3-4 toll booths to cross. (For people who haven't been through this way).

A question - Are we meeting up at 5:30 AM?? Thats too early
If meeting time is at 5:30, need to get up and get ready by 4:45 AM Cant we delay it a bit??? Like meeting at 6:00 or 6:30 AM??

Yes Ram, what you said is correct.

Lets do like this,
Assembling time for B'lore team : 5:30am,
Starting to Yelagiri : 6:00am,

So that our members have enough time to assemble at the spot

AppU When shall we start and where shall we meetup . Shall we wait for all our Chennai members ?

As Bangalore team & Chennai team starting very early, we can start relax around 8am and assemble at DurgaBhavan, in the mean time Chennai team will join with Us from Durga Bhavan

You need not worry much about the traffic blocks on Hosur road. Until 8 am I never came across any heavy traffic on this stretch. Every month almost once or twice I am travelling on this way to Kerala and Chennai. And Guys, if you are not planning to stay back at Yelagiri, take the two way toll valid until 12 midnight.

Yes Ram sir, The traffic will build around 7:00am near the KA-TN Border and the Checkpost.

As B'lore guys starting at 6am, I hope they won't get any issue around there.

I never wanted to be in that "yet to confirm", but as explained to you, I myself do not know the situation as of now as there is a little twist in my Chennai visit where they want to fix the appointment on 28th instead of 27th, but I never loose hope and fight till the end to join you guys(there is no ride of mine and all are my rides to carry me and my travel bag).

Wish that most of yet to confirm will come into confirm list by next week

I don't know in which list I need to add You, so added in "Yet to Confirm" list.

I know you will do anything to attend the meet. So I'm sure you will fight hard with those guys and make the Chennai visit on 27th and remaining will be followed as per plan
