Re: TAI Member Pet's Help and Discussions!

Oh, that must have been sad. I have never had fishes though but I know that keeping them is not an easy job. What’s sure is that any pet you own, at least there must be one person in house all the time to take care of them.

Re: TAI Member Pet's Help and Discussions!

Seems like i missed a lot here!

@ Raj Bruno has grown up a lot , though still looking cute!

I don know but just like fluffy my max doesn like water! He creates a huge fuss to take bath each time! And about food he eats everything what we have apart from the regular dog food! But avoid sweets and chocolates at all costs(just little is okay) , my vet advised me this!

Outings yes its a bit tough to leave him alone even for one day. We don have much our relatives who likes dogs , all of them are afraid of dogs! So if its a long trip we leave him at a kennel where they feed and take care of him , they charge Rs.300 for a day. But as truecitylover said my max also doesn eat in our absence! Forget eating he doesn even drink water most of the times!

We go for such long trips atleast twice a year so we are forced to leave him at a kennel at those times!

Ditto to that. You can say, we have also stopped full family outings since the day our pet came home. Now usually we need to leave someone with fluffy while going out. She also doesn’t prefer eating much in our absence.
Everyone is in the same club is guess![clap]

Bathing them sure is a big job, but she generally doesn’t likes staying close to water at all.
Not sure about this behaviour! May be i have seen the ones that love water. Golden retrievers are water lovers and few say that they can swim too.

I have been trying to convince my mom since past few month.
I will definitely get one as soon as i get settled with job and all. I got an aquarium and was happy with my fishes who seemed to recognize me when i came near to feed them. However we had to go out of town for some urgent work and my dad asked his friend to take care of the aquarium. When we returned, we found all our fishes except Shark dead. This disturbed my mom and she never allowed any pets at home.
Thats sad to hear Akash. Pets usually take over one's mind and people get attached soon.

One more pet who does not like water? Hmmm...Changing my perception about pets and water.

And about food he eats everything what we have apart from the regular dog food!
Yes, the same happens at my home. They will start scolding my mom and dad if they do not give few of their favorites (Crispy dosa, Chappathi, Grill chicken - BIG TIME Etc.,). With me, it does not happen much and if it happens i start scolding them. LOL.

But avoid sweets and chocolates at all costs(just little is okay) , my vet advised me this!
Ok. Now, did i hear SWEETS & CHOCOLATES? Hope that my pets don't hear it. The elder on is crazy about sweets. She is an addict. Yeah, vets say it but do our pets really give a damn about it?[frustration]

Do the kennel guys take care of them properly? As far as the feedback i received, they just show off that they take care. If you have found some place the otherwise of it, it's really great!

Again, this goes true with almost every dog I guess.

That is correct. Here is one photograph.

Yeah even Max is crazy about all sweets but i give him only little. I advise you also reduce the amount of sweets you give her , i understand its difficult , but it ensures a healthy life maybe in the longer run.

About Kennels , tried three places till now. Two are really good , one is very bad!

And i would also love to check if my Max can also swim! Sadly i also don have a swimming pool!

Yes. I agree with you. We kind of reduce chocolates but other home made sweets, no way. Mom prefers to feed them both before i get to taste it.
Good that you have found good kennels to take care of max.

Re: TAI Member Pet's Help and Discussions!

I wasnt feeling well due to which i took rest the whole day. After spending whole day on bed, i thought of having some fresh air in the garden.
While i went to the shed to inspect my Alto, i found a cute little guest inspecting my car’s disc. A Cute wild kitten.
Interestingly when i came towards her, she was not a bit afraid. Even when i started to go back home, she kept following me and hovering around me while i was still walking.

I gave her some bread which i dont think she liked at all, so gave her some milk which she seems to have enjoyed since even after the bowl went empty, she still licked her tongue to make sure not a single drop is left behind.

Here are some pics of the cute guest!

Nice looking fellow with the tiger print and all. Looks like she's practicing hunting for prey in the third picture.
I too got one kitten. Will post the pictures soon!

She looks just too cute, Akash. Nice that you served some milk to her. I'm sure, she will come back to your place. I had also adopted wild kitty a few years ago.

And she did!
I had been away to college and my mom told me that she remained in the Garage all day!

I felt really sad for her when i saw her this afternoon. The kind of meow she was doing sounded as if she was missing something(may be her mother)[sad]. I gave her some milk which i guess made her feel better and she was back in action[thumbsup].
