Nice pics Rajeev. Bruno still looks cute.
BTW have your Scorpio's tire worn out or what? Look at Bruno in the 4th pic. He is looking at your cars tire with concern as if doing inspection or something[lol].

Great pics Rajeev. I am following this thread and seems like Bruno has grown up a bit.
He looks really good. Guess he gets a chance to enjoy the wetness of the floor very often (All dogs love it). Keep checking for Ticks in him regularly.
Keep more pics coming!

Re: TAI Member Pet's Help and Discussions!

Glad to see this thread. As expected, automotive lovers will be pet lovers also.Attaching the pics of my Golden Retrievers. One is Mom and the other is Daughter. Mom is the one in dark gold. Mom is 5 years old and the daughter is 3 years.
Both of them look adorable. But how do you manage to leave them alone in home, just in case you plan for a long family outing or do you take them along as well?

My bruno is 9 months old now -
Hey, Bruno has grown up a lot!

My pet (Fluffy) generally prefers staying away from water.

Re: TAI Member Pet's Help and Discussions!

Thanks Vibhor! Well, thats a tough choice. We dropped long family outings because of them. Long travel does not suit my pets. If any urgency, we ask a handler to take care of them or arrange my cousins to stay with them. The problem is that they won't eat well in our absence. They eat just for the sake of it (just few chunks).
For a day's travel (morning - night, which happens rarely), my parents prepare meal for them and ask our neighbours to help in feeding since i'm in chennai and they are at my hometown. Since they all love our pets, there has'nt been a problem.

Not sure about that behaviour by Fluffy but i've seen a lot of pets liking to sleep on watery soil/ slabs. If you are talking about bathing, i agree with you. My pets make a huge fuss to bath.

@350Z, raj_5004, truecitylover- Guys would you mind sharing about the meals of your pets. I mean other than Pedigree, what do they eat. I am sorry for this stupid question but i have never had such pets at home, though i desperately wish to have one.

@ Akash: There are a variety of foods available for pets. You can go for the food brand based on your budget.
There are brands like Royal canine, Propac, Propet, Purina, eukanuba Etc.,
Pet food market is very vast and there are premium variety (Which cost more or less equal to a human's daily budget).

One may also prepare healthy fresh food at home. Rice + boiled vegetables/ meat/ milk.

They eat just what we do. Yes, at least my pet eats full meal as ours along with bread and Pedigree etc. is offered occasionally as side food. We are vegetarian, so do not offer meat etc. but sometimes Non-veg variant of Pedigree works just all right.

question but i have never had such pets at home, though i desperately wish to have one.
I would say, go ahead if you are keen on having one. They are not just pets, but a lot more than that. They are actually your companion.

Me too. I wanted to know whether they can do without meat and all. I can feed my pet with Non veg variant of pedigree which you mentioned.

Ditto to that. You can say, we have also stopped full family outings since the day our pet came home. Now usually we need to leave someone with fluffy while going out. She also doesn’t prefer eating much in our absence.

Not sure about that behaviour by Fluffy but i've seen a lot of pets liking to sleep on watery soil/ slabs. If you are talking about bathing, i agree with you. My pets make a huge fuss to bath.
Bathing them sure is a big job, but she generally doesn’t likes staying close to water at all.

Yes. Definitely, they can do without meat (At least small breeds). I don’t know about other big ones. So considering to get one?

I have been trying to convince my mom since past few month.
I will definitely get one as soon as i get settled with job and all. I got an aquarium and was happy with my fishes who seemed to recognize me when i came near to feed them. However we had to go out of town for some urgent work and my dad asked his friend to take care of the aquarium. When we returned, we found all our fishes except Shark dead. This disturbed my mom and she never allowed any pets at home.
