@Dhaya, hmm finally you are seen here again as you were missing here from past 9 pages.
Yes your Jetta rocks buddy and excellent car and yes you are lucky to have such father who is also an auto enthusiast. we really enjoyed your presence in the meet and hope you will be active again on the forum and make it to such meets again.
I would like to know the experience of the members who were the participants in previous meet at Yelagiri. What do you think of this meet in comparison to previous one
Yes Dhaya, now you have a sophisticated smart phone and you should participate in every discussions actively from now on. You alot a time for TAI daily say morning while having coffee or evening while relaxing.
And small correction RK sir, the previous meet was not at Yelagiri, It was in a place near Vellore.
Regarding comparison, If you ask me, being the person attended both the meets, I would say the Bangalore meet was the best for various reasons. Instead of comparing both the meets let me tell you what we did in Bangalore meet and from that you know what we missed in Vellore meet.
- Introduction session
- Car inspection
- Cricket
- Pool
- A long Chit Chat of members with each other
We did none of the above in Vellorei meet for various reasons. Some are
- Did not have time for all. We reached the destinations by lunch time.
- Had nice home made food [Thanks to Appu and his family for wonderful biriyani and to my wife who made nice Chappathi with Tomotto Thokku]
- Then did small chit chat, some photo shoot at destination etc
- Then moved towards vellor, and thanks to appu again for locating wonderful place for photo shoot.
- Then we disbursed.
Above all it was my first meet with TAI members and I was little bit hesitant for two reasons. One I was the oldest in that gang so felt little bit shy to move along with youngsters. Two, meeting every one of them [Except appu whom I met in a auto expo before the meet] so that took some time. I think this once is for everyone.
But, in this meet I made sure that I will do whatever we missed in previous meet. Infact I suggested the casual introduction session and pestered the members till the evening and somehow we did and and I belove that was an excellent session we had and we all came to know lot of things about every member. And also I believe that I was good companion for all youngsters of the meet and did n't bore them at any point in time.
This is from my side. Hope we all would have learned some things in this meet and that will be cleared in next meet and keep going. Just a line from a Tamil movie "
Practice makes a man perfect". This would have been told before but it got registered to me after that movie.
So let us keep meeting, have fun forever.
@Vishwas, I think you have taken some videos too. Please upload those if you have.
Yes, Vishwas, we all are waiting for that video. Only your video and photos from dhaya are pending.
