The plan is to do a conference call on google hangout. Or simple phone calls?

If it is on google I doubt the call quality since we may run out of bandwidth because of more partys on the conference.

Another option in FT is Five Elements, just opposite to Savory. Maybe, we can park just before the Mosque Road (inline or opp to Chikkaba's Taj) and walk to these places.

Another place with good food joints and lots of space is HSR Layout!

Spoke to AR Ram Sir this morning, he is fine with anywhere and was chatting with Anshuman over phone.

We need others to confirm please... thegreatv, TrafficHacker, MSN1, Pras - How about you all?

@Figoian - Am game for the meet, as long as it is in the stretch of Marathahalli & Madiwala.
I have office client calls till 7:30PM +/- 10Mins, so the location should be 20 to 30 mins away from the Ecospace, Bellandur.
Please finalize the plan and declare the venue.

Hey. Bangalore is doing great. From Hyd as of now Only Mr. RK. In chennai as of now only me and arun. I have SMSed some people but no reply. Even the member planning to provide space also has not yet replied.

I am scared. No other city TAIiger not responded except Raja from Mumbai.

I have PMed nearly 500 people from this morning. But very few are responded. i dont know whether to proceed or not.

First, it is a conference call on Google hangout. We would like to meet every one. We might use phones also to some extent. I do not know about the bandwidth problem. I assume you want to mention about the individual laptop's bandwidth. I think we may be able to handle it.

And I do not understand your mineral water bottle matter.

As Raja said few posts back, since it is a weekday and most of our members must be at office or travelling back to home in thick traffic, so your idea is good but there are certain troubles for members.

Why are you scared ?

Even if just 2 people meet , it's fine . You did your part , however if members are free they will make it . Why you have to cancel the idea or plan ?

Try all that google hangout stuff . But IMHO also keep it flexible and simple . People who have no laptops or don't use google services allow them just to post pics here on this thread and let them post where they met whom they met and at 8:9:10 what they were doing .

What sbhokrey meant was generally he has a drink in mineral water bottle , the same which you and gurralla have too in evening when you have meet , he asking is it ok if his bottle is seen on the cam ?

I am always game for the meet and as discussed earlier my place is open for any number of meets. It is not required to seek a formal approval for such great gatherings. I had to reply your message only at 11:41 PM as I was tied up with some work at home. Cheers to your effort of PM'ng several folks in organizing the meet. Let me know if there are any changes or other plans.

The venue for the meet is at "The Dhaba", Marathahalli. when you come from belandur after you cross the marathalli under bridge it is on your left before ISRO.
