I just got the vehicle in my hands, it was bit late from them.

Few pics of the vehicle, sorry clarity is not that good as there is some white radium sticker in the front. Will post good pics tomorrow.

Regarding official TD, have explained them how it will be and given the contact of the IR to the manager sales who has come to deliver the vehicle and he said will speak to IR on that. Did lot of marketing about TAI today for ISUZU guys[:)]

Isuzu to start production of MU-7 SUVs and DMax pick-up trucks by 2016

Japanese automobile major Isuzu Motors is expected to start commercial production of its MU-7 SUV and DMax pick-up trucks in India at its Andhra Pradesh facility in 2016, a top company official said today.

After the launch of its SUV and the truck in the market, Toru Kishimoto, General Manager (Sales division), said the company has recently signed an MOU to set up a plant at Sri City in Hyderabad. The soft launch of the vehicles was already done in Hyderabad a few days ago at the International Industrial Trade Fair.

The sprawling 100 acre land would have the facility to manufacture both the vehicles and become fully functional by early 2016, he said, adding DMax truck would be manufactured at a location in Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh, bordering Tamil Nadu.

Till then the company will import vehicles from Thailand. From the next year onwards, it would start assembling at another facility to be set up at Oragadam near Chennai in Tamil Nadu, Kishimoto said.

Priced at Rs 27.5 lakh and Rs 7.2 lakh for MU-7 and DMax, respectively, the company is yet to decide on the strategy as far as the Indian market is concerned, he said.

He added that India is a very huge market for these types of vehicles and the company would definitely capture a good market share in the coming years.

I got little time to take the Dmax out today for a while !!

Oh !! It is like driving a premium car man !!
-Nice finish on the interiors
-Excellent power steering response
-gears are smooth and easy
-Hmm superb power delivery, it was just jumping ahead
-Good suspension and planted on the road
-Seating position is good where you can have view of the vehicle very clearly on the rear part to from side view mirrors
-Engine is excellent refined and NVH levels are less
-Power windows operate well, stock music system delivers nice sound inside the cabin which is with CD,FM
-Excellent seats with good thigh and shoulder support and legroom is good

Overall satisfied with the vehicle and could be treated as a premium pick up van and could be very useful for people have farms.

-dash board plastic looks not that strong
-AC can be fitted but optional
-4 seater would be an ideal thing which they said there is a model made available. I need to get clarification on this

See few pics of today, more to come once I do a bit long drive with some loads
