For Window tints, Garware is a good option, but when it comes to windshiedl tinting, get the 3M. Btw tints for your Ritz?

Yes, but i want black colour tints. we are not opting for windshield tints. for side tints, shortlisted-

Garware Charcoal 50 (High Performance series)
Garware Icecool 50
Garware HP Fusion 50

3M CS 50
3M RE 50
3M CR 50

Problem is i dont know the prices & which one of these is black!

AFAIK the Garware Icecool is not completely black, it is kind of dark grey.
The CS50 has a kind of blue effect. Please confirm the colors with your dealer or from where ever you are planning to get them since i am not very sure of the colors.

For the prices i think, it ranges from 2.5k-4.5k for 3M and for Garware you need to pay comparatively lesser amount.

Which is the best sunfilm for the front windscreen? Can anyone share the details and pics would really help me a lot. Expecting some positive responses guys..! PLease help.
If budget is not a constraint, consider going with transparent windscreen sun films (30% VLT), and they still do offer heat reduction. At the moment, I’m unable to recall the brand which offers them, but do survey in market for same and always make sure to confirm for originality at least twice.

@350Z: Thakns for that. You have any pics for the same?
Those sun films are almost transparent, neither you nor anyone else would be able to notice the difference in looks. I do not have any pictures of them, but I think the brand was 3M only, though the cost is too high, ranging approx. Rs.8,000 – Rs.10,000 if I remember correctly.

I think the black (Charcoal) would look better on your red Punto, but I didn’t get the logic behind what your friend says?

I also like Charcoal one.

The logic is lets see two same cars with same m/f or Purchase date. One with Sun film and another without. Now the car with sun film will look much more older. This is debatable as we can't measure it but still have any one felt like that.

That’s a purely personal opinion. As long as the color of tints isn’t unusual and installation is done flawlessly, I don’t think there’s anything like a matter of age will come in between. Otherwise, on the other hand, if you perform any after market modification on a car, whether it is tints or alloy wheels, the car will naturally look different which could make it appear older when brand new model is parked next to it.

Go for charcoal one , it will suit your ride more!

And your friend must have said that because new vehicles will have not any sunfilm in it![lol]

And on the other hand i saw a Fortuner getting sunfilmed without even getting its number plates!

+1. Charcoal will suit you ride.
Dont go on your friends myth. New car does not have mnay things, does that mean we will sacrifice our needs just for the sake of keeping it in stock state. Tell him to remove his regn. plate. Obviously it wasnt there when his ride was new[lol].
