I think battery will last for a day. Don't be over concius.
Start normally in morning. In afternoon, start saving power (as zinam mentioned above) and try to use the lens (not the screen) to view pictures if battery is low.

My advice is to get a 5 MP mobile cam [some near ones or friends?] with full charge.

Use it only for taking pics.

you can use mobile for indian cars & digicam for hot launches :)

And if you have an option to use view finder. then use that.

But i dont think your camera has one.

No, This camera doesn't have a view-finder. I'll be leaving camcorder at home and using this one to snap pics.

All the best 350Z. See if you can source a spare battery from a local shop. Or borrow a friends camera for a day. Managing two cameras at one go is tough though.

Here’s a small update, just the two words of appreciation: I’m extremely happy with this camera. The pictures are absolutely clear and realistic; for an amateur photographer like me, it’s no less than a DSLR. I’ll share some pictures soon.

Sorry for going OT but one doubt , We both have the same camera right? How do you upload the full-sized images here? If i reduce the pixels of the picture the picture becomes smaller in size but also loses its clarity!

Go to Menu > Image Size > VGA. This will keep the size of pictures around thousand pixels so you won't have to fiddle with the size and hamper its clarity.

Why do you want to click the pic in VGA mode.
Capture the pic in the Mega pixel you wish to click.
Then just resize the pic with the help of MS Paint or Picasa.
In MS paint : Go to Resize and select Pixels & type the resolution mentioned below.
I usually keep the Resolution 1632 X 1224.( Which is 2MP)

Or in Picasa select folder and click export with pixel size, automatically the size will be resized.

Which reduces the size of Jpeg but not the clarity.

Mukesh i follow what you have said but it reduces the clarity in my case. See the difference in quality of pictures which i post and see in Vibhor's travelogues.

So dhaya in that case if the PNG format is allowed to be attached then the clarity won't differs.
PNG is the Portable Network Graphics, which if resized does not reduces clarity.

Whenever I connect the Digicam with computer, it asks to manually go to Menu > Auto. Not sure about the reason since it didn’t used to happen earlier.

Yes that's what usually happens the Autoplay feature works and gives a menu to open through Ms paint, picasa or which ever software you have installed.

But if it isn't working disable all USB through device manager and enable it again.
It would work fine.
