As Promised, The Automotive India has brought a First and Exclusive Detailed coverage of 10th Auto Expo. So, without wasting any moment let’s move to the most exciting part for which world was waiting since queues of month.

ABOUT AUTO EXPO



Held only once in every couple of years in India. The country’s most happening automotive event is organized jointly by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturer's Association (ACMA) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Ever since 1986 the Auto Expo started at New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan has kept automobile enthusiasts exhilarating. However, this time we have a special reason to enjoy and celebrate this event much more than before because it is the Silver Jubilee Year! Not just this, But many big and International auto-players have joined to showcase their vehicles which has resulted in more new launches.

The Automotive India team reached at venue to cover the complete event and give ultimate and first coverage for all its visitors and members. Though The Automotive India has extensively covered the event so that you can enjoy every bit by just sitting in front of your computer screen but for those who want all the action & fun live may note the full details of event, mentioned below;

  • TAI Advice: Auto Expo being one of the largest automobile fair in country, you could notice flood of people during weekend (9th & 10th January 2010). Visiting the fair on weekdays makes a better option. However, there are time restrictions for general visitors but you can at least view each car closely without much rush of public. And Yes, Don’t forget to pack your camera and prove the hidden photographer in you!

Today also being the day of Auto Expo for physically challenged people, Special arrangements of transport etc were provided for them.

Autocar India displayed a supercar. Guess Which??



You got it right! It is none other than the Lamborghini Gallardo, owned by the founder of Supercar Club of India. :smile:





Below: As Sameer, Brand Director of JBL India said elsewhere "A Small Orange Party" on auto expo. Well Sam, We fully covered your orange party. It was interesting to see extremely pimped JBL rides.

No one expected the presence of JCB Diesel Max - Fastest Vehicle on Planet. It was a pleasant surprise.



Above: Range of Eco Friendly Vehicles by a local manufacturer.



Asli-Nakli Stall. The motto of this special stall is to make public aware on how to differentiate between original and fake auto-components. The In-Charge of this place very well explained us about differentiating between real and fake air/oil filters. If you've interest. It's a must visit......



......So now guess which is Original? :biggrin:

The model range from the home of Korean Car maker..


The covered car seen above is Hyundai's "Surprise car". Korean car maker delayed in the launch so couldn't cover this one.







When will the aging Santro discontinue is still a question mark.



Hyundai's specially prepared Road Track to teach correct driving habits goes with the theme of "Cars" Movie.

So it remains mystry[frustration].

Hyundai's specially prepared Road Track to teach correct driving habits goes with the theme of "Cars" Movie.
This is good idea/theme. Hope so many people learn something new in driving.
