No No friends I am not for tablet !! right now

Only waiting till the next week for 620 launch, nothing more, if Nokia fails to launch, then believe me I will be with Galaxy S advanced, that's it no more extension of wait at all !![:)]

It simple again, I am not looking for a best seller here, may be S advanced is not a best seller and 620 may be a best seller in future or may not be. If I like it then I buy one

Hope this news will give lot of relief to lot of members here, anyway thank you for your time friends

Nokia's much awaited Lumia 620, the cheapest Windows Phone 8 operating system based smartphone, will be launched in India next week on March 12. It is priced at Rs 15,199.
The handset is available for pre-order from various online retailers. While Flipkart is offering it for Rs 15,199, Infibeam is offering users to prebook it for Rs 2,000 and says that "the item will be released on March 12".

In the end there are some comments from readers and one of that says

But all these Micromax, Lava, Cellkon are just China phones rebadged. My friend bought Canvas 2 recently. It has terrible screen, cheap plastic. And it lags and hangs continuously thought it has good specs on paper.

LG phone has 1Ghz single core cortex A5 processor while sony has 1hgz dual core cortex A9 processor.

A5 processor is made for entry level smartphones and feature phones. It is very less powerful compared to even cortex a9 which is in sony.

Lumia 620 has 1ghz dual core S4 processor based on 28nm compared to 40nm (a5/a9) means more performance and power efficient as well.
S4 architecture itself gives nearly double the performance than a9 processor because it is based on A15 architecture.
Its sad to see that these tech journalists reporting the just specs without mentioning the real performance. 1Ghz need not perform less than 1.5Ghz unless they are of same architecture. A lot depends on architecture.
Plus windows phone performs smoothly with lower specs than android phones with much better specs.

Hmm,

I think it is clear now , the Lumia prices around 15K and its launch is in next week !! but some of my friends still suggesting me to go for S advanced, the reasons are

1. Screen size
2. Proven model
3. Best back up from Samsung on anything
4. Good processor
5. Good camera and battery capacity

So I am really [confused], I know some members will literally kill me for this post[lol]

RK, dont worry about what others say, Its your money and you have to enjoy the purchase. I might say S Advance is the one, but you might really like L620. Don't worry about it. Nothing like having a 'Just released phone fresh from the Owen' [glasses]. But seriously test it out for most of the functions you do on daily basis and take a call. Regarding your points
1. Slight difference but it matters so test it out.
2. Agreed
3. Nokia also has better service center coverage.
4. Correct but android generally processor hog
5. Both camera are equal, battery life S Advance will be better on paper, but don't know the practical usage as L620 just out. L620 might even produce more juice as its a new device and better optimized. So TD is important here too..[evil]

Thank, anyway it is just a week more now to see 620 in flesh, then I will take my call. But the display models doesn't have a sim card so we cannot check browsing speeds and all.

The point no.3 is about the OS updates, sorry for mistake

Yes the OS upgrades depend much on the popularity of the device. If you see SG-S2, still gets updates even after 2 years. MS generally not interested in OS updates(My 10 year experience in the past with MS devices). But in both options then you can look for updating it yourself, but that is after one year as your warranty is over by then and safe to be adventurous.

Thank you one more thing is that we cannot change the screen in Windows where as android offers customised screens which can be set with lot of useful things like weather etc.,

I dont know, it they do not allow you to add your own tiles to the home screen on WM8, It is possible on W8 desktop systems. There is a big difference between the home screens on WM8 and Android(and IoS are almost same).
In android yes you can add widgets to your screen such as emails, weather, fb for that matter for almost all programs offer widget support(that is one reason for battery run down too [evil]). Also you can choose different launchers if you are not happy with the stock launcher. Where as I believe you have to stick to Windows launcher.
That's what I have been telling from the beginning, Choose by OS, not by price range. Give more importance to navigation(not the GPS), UI see which one suites you then make a all. (I am definitely not suggesting Windows is not good)

Hmm,

I think it make more sense after the launch of 620 where all of you also see that and flesh and test its capabilities.

If it gets further delayed then I have to take call on going for any Android mobile(may be S advanced)
