Some nice posts and information thank you for the same.
It looks to me from Superbad's one of the post, the price are really coming down day by day as I can go for a little old(6 months) high end phone for less price if I wait a while and grab a good deal.
I want to make it clear to you that I am not for Windows8 or Android. Whatever has reasonably good configuration with a VFM price tag will do for me.
Yes 620 configuration is excellent, I don't think you will have a different opinion, it is a good phone with a very good price if it is around 15000/-. Latest information from edios through some website it seems Feb28 is the next date, I really do not know whether it is correct or wrong ??
Leaving 620 a side, presently I am tagged between S duos and S advanced(with that price given by edios on on of the link, closely 16k it looks best package).
So within these two which one you suggest and why

check in ebay - my brother got a brand new Nexus 4 for 15k and it is an awesome phone. No FM radio in it but otherwise its a good phone for that price tag.

Hey RK if S advance is available for 16 k then go for it, earlier samsung priced it very high so phone got mixed review but now it is very good phone with JB updates available for it.

S advance makes more sense here because it is a super phone under 20k.
it is worth buying this phone for 17k.
but again its your decision since both are fine for the price.

The difference between S duos & S advance is that. S duos, has dual sim and it can be suitable only for normal use. Not much since its not that fast.
But if you want better camera, faster processor & things like that. S advanced is the one to opt.
IMO, since S advance is around 4-5k expensive. I will suggest for the S duos based on your requirements. Not sure about the battery backup though!

Definitely S Advance winds in the league.
And I too saw that phone in ibhejo some days ago, and ignored because of the price they offer.
Edit: The price was near 23K before, maybe they decreased because it's soon going to be released in India.

Guys, I have an S Advance and I am not too happy with it. First, samsung took ages to update it (kept it on 2.3.6 Gingerbread) till very recently. Now, the update has happened but it is not working very well. On an average, I am pulling the plug on the phone to reset freezes very often after the updates. (Of course, that could also be due to the other apps that I have installed on my phone, I don't know!) The phone is also not very snappy with Jelly Bean. Also, there are not very many custom ROMs out there for S Advance either.
My recommendation would be to look at Micromax A116 Canvas HD. It was released on 14 Feb and is available online on order for Rs.13900/- (Ships in 20 days). Though I haven't even seen it in flesh and blood, reviews look pretty promising. If someone has experienced it, please do post your views.
