Strange Habits of Car Lovers

Whenever I'm seeing well maintained BMW, MERC or AUDI. I ask a question to myself.. "How they are maintaining such a expensive beauty from City traffic?"

It is actually easy but the driver needs a lot more patience - it is called preventive driving.

I do that "most of the times". If you spot an arrogant or rash driver, simply let him go or pass. Same applied for women drivers (some women are great drivers though). Whenever a biker or autorickshaw comes close, I simply slow down and let him pass. When standing in a signal, either stop the car so close to the median/divider that no biker can pass from there or keep so much of space that a biker can easily pass. I normally avoid parking my car near a car which has a lot of dents/scratches or has the 'L' board. I drive slowly so that if someone cuts across, I dont have to brake hard, which prevents a rear end. Brake as gently as possible even if that means you need to stop just 2 inches away from the car in front. Drive fast in the right lane or slow in the leftmost lane. I avoid the middle lane unless i am giving way to someone who is faster than me. I avoid the middle lane because this lane is used by both - very slow drivers and very fast drivers!

In short, give way to one and all (especially pedestrians) and safeguard your car from other morons on the road.

+1 Raj but sometimes i feel like hitting the morons which comes to our lane just because they have to overtake and instead we have to break

In my Vista I'm also following the same kind of driving.. First I let the person who is trying to overtake me. especially Autowallas & Bikers..


But In in Black Indica.. mostly I never allow any rash driver to pass me..

Anyhow what you have mentioned, will really help to a person..those who love their car

i really enjoyed reading this thread i always do all th ethings mentioned above .but i dont switch of my AC . AC and Stereo are default in my car when i switch ON the engine. One which is mentioned such us everyone would laugh on us when we do the above things.

I had come back to the parking lot of a restaurant and was checking out the hot alloys of a DZire parked next to my car. You could guess the expressions of the security guard watching me - Has this guy forgotten which car he parked???

sometimes when you have to sit in the rear seats ..that wierd ,funny, unique feel where you have nothing to do and car takes you to places..and you have some new discoveries.

And that offensive feeling when the driver changes the gear at wrong moment.

Everytime i see a wonderful high-end luxury car, i speak out its model and possible cost, sometimes even engine specs.
Fun part is when my wifey hears to this, she goes off, says-"be satisfied with what u have"
Sometimes, i just do it to get her angry

Even i do the same thing to tease my wife . Also i hate to see any flies in my car and cannot driver until the fly is out of the car.

^^ Hence better to stay single. In anycase, who needs a wife when you have good car ??

And if you want to make your GF/wife angry or wanna annoy her, just tell her that your next car or rather vehicle is going to be something like scorpio or safari.

BTW, I hate when someone doesn't reduces speed of car over speed breaker & I hear that thud sound.

About the car and GF/Wife comparo.I'd present my views as:-

• Your girlfriend/wife sulks when you care your car more than her.
  
• She is disturbed because as much time you are giving to your car as well ACI,it was never given to her.
  
• She sulks because you may suddenly get the movie plan cancelled only because your car's service date has arrived and service center has informed you that your turn has came.
  
• She is angry because on sundays you don't help her instead you simply get out with a cloth and bucket in your hand and massage your car for hours.
  
• She is angry because you are afraid of handing over the keys of your car to her brother because you love your car,hence she feels second to your car.
  
• My car never expects me to do any favour to her,how much ailing she may be.
  
• My car never gave me any orders but innocently follows my directions.
  
• You can make all of your friends with you ride her at the same time but she never objects whatever you do to her as well as inside her...
  
• Your car can get you a girlfriend,but a girlfriend can never get you a car.
  
• If your car malfunctions,you leave her alone on highways,but she never revolts,once try the same with your fiancee and see.

Oh man,I love my car and I can present hundreds of such reasons for proving her better than any girls!!
