is that me , the shining is dull on the bonnet?
I believe it is due to photography. The shine looks fine to me.

Congrats on the lovely car. Why don't you get 3M car detailing done for the interior and exterior. It will make your car look like new. Also always drive with the AC, the interiors remain in good condition.

And what is 3m coating? (i have no idea) And is it waxing or something different from that(teflon)?

And the AC part, i dont mind about the drop in FE due to AC, but i cant give up the acceleration too. So mostly drive without AC in city(Though not a big difference after 1500rpm). You think thats too bad for my interiors?

3M car detailing is they will do a polish on the exteriors and your interiors will also be completely cleaned , vacuumed and polished. I don't have any idea where this can be done in Chennai though.

Without AC interiors tends to accumulate a lot of dust. Good for you if you clean your interiors regularly.

Yeah regular cleaning of interiors is a must for me, but i dont really do that properly. Though i start to clean well , at the end its just a 1/2 work done. [;)]

Thanks to my laziness [frustration]

Fitted with some more stuffs

I was planning to put up parking sensors for the car, but suddenly i felt that i was good enough to park in tight places[clap]. So i thought of investing in speakers and LED lights. I was sure about the speakers because i really had good experience with speakers. So i was about to choose between JBL and Auditor (in my budget).

Speakers

JBL - good low frequency response
Controlled trebel
cost: 4.4 k

Auditor - Overall quality
No big bass
Great reproduction of trebel(this impressed me a lot)
cost : 3.9k

So went for a auditor (though i was planning a JBL for a long time). But after fitting the auditor, i was really happy with the quality. And No quality issues till now !

total cost = 3.9k + 750(for boxing) + 200(labour)

LED lights.
cost : 1.9k

As the head lights in Octy looks dull and boring i thought of adding some spice. First i thought of angel eyes and daemon eyes lighting , but wht i felt was, it wont suit the car well. So thought of adding a LED strip inside the headlight assembly, but again i didnt dare to play with a 33k worth assembly. So i got a really neat place to fix LED lights in the bumper. As octy comes with projector fog lamps within headlight assembly, there is no fog lamps in the bumper. So here goes the pics.

total cost = 1.9k +100(labour)

Now i need your suggestion guys !!

1) But what i miss now is the switch for the LED lights, it is connected with the parking lamps. Any idea about it? Should i consider fitting a switch?

2) Now the white LED looks good (i guess so), but with yellow headlights?? dont u think thats odd? So can i change atleast my parking yellow lamp to white for now?

3) your feed back !! [:D]

ICE fanatics always find the excuses. Nonetheless, congratulations for the new speakers. About the LEDs - I personally think that you could have better considered investing for a headlamp upgrade if you find the stock ones to be dull.
