Starting at Rs.6 Lakhs? Bad, they are actually trying to compete with sister company’s Vento. It is highly doubtful if it would ever be an apt “replacement” for Octavia. The Octy has its own charm, both, look and performance wise which an all new model may not perfectly return. I’m a fan of Octavia, which is a highly reliable car (Yes, true. No need to be in shock), only drawback which makes me concern are cost of spare parts.

It was premiered in October 1994 on the Charles Bridge in Prague.Serial production begin in October 1994, and ended June 2001. The name Felicia was not used for the first time, resurrecting a nameplate originally used by Skoda in the 1960s for a range two-seater sports cars which was very popular.


Now, it is really interesting to see which model Skoda is gonna launch in India with this old name!

An update – Skoda’s New C-segmenter is internally codenamed as SK215. The car is based on Fabia platform, which will roll out in the market by next year. It’ll have the powerful 1.6 Liter engine under the hood, and pricing is expected to range from Rs.8 Lakh onwards.

@ 350Z Yeah that trend is being followed by all manufacturer and i thought you only said it will be better if all cars of a manufacturers resemble each other in Kizhashi's thread?
