Want something really simple? Use Wugfresh Nexus toolkit.
I tried one method , downloaded everything. Some xda method. But the programme was unable to find my phone , even tbough i installed sdk plus google drivers.

My phone didn't show up in device manager when i was connected in mtp mode , it only showed in the camera mode. Dropped the idea [lol]

Are you referring to usb debugging? I did that and i saw this method as well. I don't want to unlock the bootloader. So tried a different method which didn't require the bootloader to be unlocked.
Bro after the whole process it will relock the bootloader. Don't worry your device will be fully stock and will be able to receive OTA updates in future .

Updated my Nexus 5 to 5.1.1 few days ago.Still there is battery draining issue after many updates.Getting frustrated with my N5 and I have decided that I will never buy a Nexus for its battery backup. Now,planning to replace my Nexus 5 for iPhone 5S in few days as I wanted an iPhone. We previously own an iPhone 3GS,iPhone 4(still using it),iPhone 5S(got from U.S and sent it to U.S in Aug 2014 due to unlocking problems and bought this crap Nexus).Still,iPhone impresses me with its fluidity.Mom's iPhone 4 battery backup is still better than my Nexus 5.Still regretting why I have sent iPhone 5S and bought Nexus instead of keeping 5S.

Sorry to hear that you are facing problem with your N5. But i think it is the common problem in almost all android smartphones. Solution is available too. Reason can be battery needs calibration or there are some unnecessary and heavy processes/applications running in background .
Please check this https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-calibrate-the-battery-on-your-android-device
BTW my Nexus 5 is running butter smooth , no issues at all.
Try some apps like Avast grimefighter, Avast antivirus , Ccleaner and Battery doctor etc. These apps can help to maintain your smartphone . I am using all these apps. Good luck.

And one more problem which I'm facing in my Nexus 5 is slow charging. When it was on KitKat it used to charge fast but since Lollipop update charging time became slower than before. It is taking about 4 hours to charge whereas if I charge with my cousin's HTC charger it will get charged fully by 2.5 hours.

Overall disappointed with my Nexus 5 due to Lollipop update. This is the reason why I'm upgrading to iPhone this time.

Have you tried BatteryDoctor app?
Buddy it seems iPhone bug has already bitten you and i don't think someone can help you. One and only solution is you should buy an iPhone as soon as possible.[lol] Best of luck.

As per my friend, who is using Moto G2,said battery apps won't help in increasing the battery life.Regarding new phone, its iPhone 5S as I don't want iPhone 6/6+ due to size issues.

So you didn't try those apps. I am using Batterydoctor app and it works for many peoples. It not only maintain your battery's health but also kill unnecessary background processes and improve your battery backup. Secondly it will monitor bettery charge process and will calibrate your battery and you can Full charge your battery instead of normal charges.
IPhone also has its own problems and issues and one of them is unexpected battery draining . What will you do then? These types of problems are there in every OS. Try to solve them instead of going for new phone every 2-3 months.
If you feels kitkat was better for you then you can go back to kitkat on your Nexus 5 easily .

Saroya Paaji-Instead of keeping it,have decided to sell it and the money, which I will get if I sell my Nexus, will be used for paying the amount for new scooter, which I have been planning since long time.BTW,my Nexus 5 will complete 1 year in August.I loved it more than Samsung phones and other Androids but the iPhone bug has bit me very badly. So,my mom,who is in U.S and coming back to India on this Saturday, may get me an iPhone 6 or 5S this week.

BTW,how much I would expect for my almost 1 year Nexus 5 16GB in black colour well maintained?Im expecting it about ₹12-15K so that I will use that money for booking new scooter.
