thx but sorry. no manza. we found the Verito most comfortable can with 6.5 L onroad in bangalore. after discount 6.2L.

same as a good hatchback. only thing I want to know is the performance of their petrol engine.
Agree with you that nothing can beat the value proposition of Verito, if dealer's are not able to arrange a vehicle for you to test drive write a strong mail to Mahindra that should help, please do keep us updated if you test drive the vehicle and if possible write a short review.

What if M & M is making petrol logans/verito as Made To Order basis ?? [confused] Even Toyota Innova petrol is not seen for TD.

That could be possible as diesel verito's eat's up more than 90% of its sales number, can anyone confirm?

Big news of the day:
You read it first on MotorBeam. Mahindra will finally launch the Verito compact sedan on the 25th of July, 2012. The Indian utility maker has finished testing of the vehicle and is currently shooting the TV commercial of the car, which will again feature Mr. Verito man in it. The sub 4-metre Mahindra Verito will be priced very aggressively, owing to the lower duties it attracts. The vehicle will take on the Tata Indigo CS and the Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, both of which are compact sedans, measuring less than 4-metres in length.

The new Mahindra Verito will also receive slight updates to the exteriors. The vehicle will feature a revised front and rear section to make things fresh on erstwhile Logan. Minor changes have been made to the interiors as well which will freshen up things on the inside. Mechanically the new Verito will remain similar to the outgoing model, with power coming in from the 1.5-litre dCi diesel motor which produces 65 BHP of power output and 160 Nm of torque output. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Sales of the Verito have dropped drastically every month and Mahindra is bringing in the facelift at the very right time. The company sold 1501 units of the Verito in April, 943 units in May and just 444 units last month. The Verito is also the least selling Mahindra vehicle, in-spite of being the cheapest Mahindra vehicle on sales today. The old Verito (measure more than 4-metres in length) will be pulled out of the market entirely. Mahindra will be targeting fleet operators and plans to offer the Verito with alternative fuels as well.

Re: Mahindra Vertio Facelift On Cards

This is the first-ever undisguised spy picture of the updated Mahindra Verito, sent by our alert reader Zain.

From the picture, it is evident that the facelifted Verito gets a new front grille with a chrome strip and horizontal slats, and re-profiled headlamps that could also get a strip of LEDs at the bottom like the XUV500. The Verito will be the first car in its class to get this feature. The front bumper also gets new styling, and the wipers now have a conventional left-to-right sweep.

The car in the picture looks like a mid-level variant as many of the plastic parts are blackened and there are no fog lamps. There is also a thick black strip of cladding on the doors, and the window frames are body-coloured, whereas the car we spotted earlier had more upmarket black window frames, body-coloured door cladding and alloy wheels.

It is unsure if the interiors have been tweaked as well, but we expect the mechanicals to remain the same in order to maintain its image of a car with an efficient diesel engine, a huge cabin and proven dynamics.

Mahindra had launched the rebadged Verito in April last year with minor design tweaks. Now, with a mid-cycle facelift, the company is only buying time until it launches the sub-four-metre saloon. We expect the facelifted Verito to be launched in the coming months.

They should integrate the boot as it will look better as station wagon than sedan.

Do you think that these changes are enough to bring Dzire,Manza,Etios or Fiesta customer's to walk into Mahindra showroom?

Re: Mahindra Vertio Facelift On Cards

New Verito is launching today. Mahindra has sourced the components to revamp the Verito from the New Renault Logan sold worldwide. That is, a redesigning job done on the headlamps and tail lamps of the car which is pictured on the first page of this topic. I would have preferred that one though. Anyways the new model obviously looks better. I hope it can work a bit to regenerate the excitement among the buyers for Verito.

Verito looks nice in those Brochure pics, Thought they could have given a nice looking front grille(Maybe Mahindra's signature of Rabbit Tooth). The side-profile is good from the pics, think it also looks good when viewed in flesh. The rear as mentioned earlier has taken design cues of the first gen Verna.
