Hi hitmoss,

Do you want a sub within the 20K budget. It will be difficult to have a sub within 20K. My suggestion to you is do the upgrades step by step.

Let me know whats your budget and your requirements like sound is priority or bass, what kind of music do you listen. Do you listen to loud music or sedate songs? Will you be driving alone most of the time.

Regards

It takes only 2k for mirror and door handle color? I was informed that it takes 5k for the same. Do you have any idea how much rear sensor will cost, a far I know it is 4.2k...

I need a decent music system, with adequate bass - I seriously don't wanna huge woofers and very loud volume.. for an instance - If I go with the Kenwood music stereo - it doesn't come up with the remote. however, it will be worth spending 18k or 20k in VW Kenwood music system or can I get a better one from outside? attached herewith the price list I have found over internet itself... just for info pl.

Hi Hitmoss,

I think you should opt for an aftermarket system and ask the ICE installer to use a coupler and not cut wires to install the head unit.

Get a Pioneer Headunit ( 5-7K)
JBL GTO 0949 rear speakers ( 4-4.5K)
6" speakers in the front ( Coaxials or components is your choice) 2K for caxials, 4-5K for components.
A 4 channel amp to power your components and rear speakers ( 5-8K)
Wiring kit for amp ( costs between 1-3K)

Components need an amp to provide high quality sound and they are expensive compared to coaxials. This setup may exceed your budget by a couple of grands however you would love it .

Let me know in case you need any further help.

Sorry to hear about that Kush - I hope you get your car soon.

Ohh. SO sorry to hear that Kuch. My delivery was delayed for some 5 days, but I kept that margin for myself, so I was not that affected by delay. Frankly speaking, its very rare that a dealers delivers vehicle on the said date, some delays are expected to happen with other car companies too.

Have they given you VIN no. of the vehicle allotted to you?
