Strange [surprise], b'coz what i got from Honda covered the carpet (jute) perfectly, and had spikes beneath which made it sit over the carpet without slipping off.
Apply some petrol slightly over the body and wipe the surface gently, if nothing works then take it to the workshop, nothing to worry, but be careful before doing this procedure and confirm with other people whether this works or not because your's being white in color(probably non-metallic the paint comes off soon).

I feel we should open a thread for Brio's issues and solution and discussions, what say guys?

I was at the petrol pump yesterday and there were some promotion guys came to me and said they can clear the scratches on the right mirror so I went to them and they use a liquid and that scratch disaapears and it was a red scratch and I was amazed it disappears then I asked them can you remove this paint also and they did that and I was so happy with them so I buyed the dash board cleaner, wax nd scratch remover from them for 400inr.Relaxed now as that paint was hurting me a lot.
And yes we should open a thread very soon.
I came back today from chandigarh and as I have automatic I got decent mileage i.e 16.5 and I am happy with the results[clap]

yeah that's a trap. they don't last long. i'm guessing you must have got 3 or 4 cans.

one big can ( foamy material) , a slighter smaller one (polish) and a very small one which removes the scratch.

check this.

buy waxpol rubbing compound 30-50 rupees and it will remove the color on your car's paint.

like i said , they just change the packaging and sell the same fake stuff.

anyways , yeah rubbing compound makes the paint dull so you have to use polish. just buy normal body polish from any car shop near you. don't forget to wax the car afterwards.

also , don't apply compound and use polish everyday.

Re: Our First Automatic ! Honda Brio VAT

Congrats on your ride. Surely would fall in love with this pot with every drive.

You dont have to drill holes for their installation. I have got it installed from a reliable technician.
Can you please post the contact details of this 'reliable' technician? How much that fitting cost you?

Osram Nightbreaker plus H4 headlight bulbs

Got car seat covers done from a shop near my house. It was stitched and installed in front of me for Rs. 6000. The material used comes in three layers with PU on top with cotton and foam below.

Nappa/Perforated Nappa Leather steering cover

3M underbody coating

The car came shod with MRF ZVTV 175/65r14, and all including the spare tyre was changed to 185/65r14 Michelin XM2’s with nitrogen on delivery.

I wish to do the same but since its been more than a year since you made these changes I would appreciate your feedback.

Based on bReeze AkA brIo and jaixons feedback I bought a Tafetta white honda brio automatic.

For my seat cover design i Used jaixons pics.

In addition to this I have gone in for rear gate spoiler, side protectors, front and rear parking sensors with mirror indicator, chrome exhaust finishing, chrome door handle protector, car cover, rubber mats, mirror lock, perfume bottle, leather tissue box, 2 key chains, 5 years RSA, 3rd and 4th year extended warranty, zero dep insurance from Tata AIG.

Since VX AT dont have a Automatic decal I got it from the Maruti showroom which is used for the A star Automatic.

I have gone in for 3M crystalline series windows films. CR70 for front and CR90 for side and rear. From the same 3M showroom in Andheri west I also did the underbody corrosion treatment with a 5 year warranty, paint sealant and the 3M nomad beige mats.

From Infibeam.com i bought a tyre pressure gauge, emergency rescue kit and aluminium heat shade for the windshield. Plan to buy the black handrest too.

From Amazon.com I bought Exomount Tablet S mount for using my phone and tablet as a navigation device. On both I have downloaded the mapmyindia Android app which works fine without the need of mobile network coverage. Also from the same website I bought a OEM HTC dual usb port car charger.

Due to major delivery delays from Linkway Honda Im really negotiating with them and they have promised two more free accessories. So instead hoping to get one of the Amaze parts like either a turn indicator ORVM (1st preference), trunk light, foot light, chrome rings on air vents, Silver steering wheel garnish or chrome door handles. Linkway Honda issue I may not share on any of the forums as they are in damage control and I wish to squeeze the maximum out of them. Luggage Area paint protector Im yet to buy.

I have seen some interesting accessories on the Honda Thailand and Indonesia websites and I would like the inputs from senior members in how to procure them.

The genuine accessories are front, rear and side skirts, Brio metal petrol cap, front grille of brio Satya, brio luggage case for the boot

::::::::::::: Honda Access Asia & Oceania Company Limited :::::::::::

Also If someone could give me an idea of how the parking sensor mirror is fitted. Do they fix the sensor mirror over the original rear view mirror or do they replace the original? The brand is Toro.

Pics of the car when all the issues with Linkway and their commitments are sorted Ill put it up.

Hope this gives you an idea of how I have gone about blinging my brio baby.

Suggestions/Advice/Guidance/Queries most welcome.

cheers

Sanj
