Now Need Advice on Head-Unit

What headunit is it? does it have a reset button behind the panel or on the panel,try that.

No it is not playing anything, The tap is not at all working , i.e no display

my sony HU stopped showing but it used to play without problem but display was complete black :P

As suggested by someone, try resetting the HU by inserting a small pin in the hole in the HU . If still the problem persists try locating the power cable to HU to see if it is shot down or loose. Did you smell any burning at the time it stopped working, if yes, most probably the mosfets are fried.

The small pin hole is not in the face plate that we detatch, it is in the circuit box that remains attached to the dash. Usually near the CD loading tray on top left or bottom right.
