Went through the leaked brochure and xv and xv pre seem to be very well loaded products , if the xv undercuts creta sx by 1.5 to 2.0 L it would be a tempting buy , as mostly they are equivalent in the terms of features , kicks looks good if not better and probably have better ride and handling in comparison to creta

Got a chance to see the car in person ,few observations
1. Its a good looking car from all the angles (although not wow sort )
2.Although its longer than creta still the inner space is equivalent ,may be due to design factor ( bulging tail light area ),while interior looked more premium .
3. Driving position is high up and commanding still no problems with headroom (i,m 5,11)
4. NVH are controlled on starting the engine ( no test drive was allowed )
5. The sales executive was quite sure that top end would be priced at par ( +/_ 10000 rs )with creta sx that is around 13.5 L ex showroom and to me that sounds like great pricing
6. Read in Autocar article that kicks will have a starting price of 9.55 L ( considering it petrol XV ,the only petrol variant ) they just might price XL diesel base at crucial 9.99 L and it will be game on with creta EX
7. Overall it seems a nice package and if priced like XL- 9.99 L, XV - 10.99 L, XV PRE-11.75 -11,99 L ,XV PRE O - 12.99 L ex showroom it will take parts from creata big time and might even hurt geep compass and upcoming harrier ,good luck nissan

Nissan has today launched its much awaited Kicks compact SUV in India. The company has strategically placed the starting price of the Kicks at Rs. 9.55 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the base petrol variant. We drove the Nissan Kicks last month and brought an in depth review of the car for you. The Kicks will be Nissan’s second vehicle in the segment, the first one being the Terrano. The Terrano, albeit cheaper, shares its engines and platform with the Kicks. Down below is a detailed price list of the Kicks.

Nice Coverage and high quality pictures - thanks.

From the picture, it seems the car do not have the usual round speedometer? May be a digital one in the center?

Sir, This one looks much better than Brezza and certainly notches better than the W-RV. I have always felt confused seeing the W-RV. As far as Captur is concerned, KICKS is a better VFM in my view. Look wise also the KICKS is pleasing to the eye. In terms of looks between Brezza & KICKS, the KICKS wins for me. Coming to the 2 wise guys of the segment Eco Sport & Nexon, Eco Sport has the edge of 6 airbags compared to KICKS with the top variant prices of both being somewhat similar. Talking about Nexon, KICKS is definitely a good competitor to it. Looking forward to the NCAP rating of the India spec KICKS (Brazil spec has 4 stars rating). I was expecting a starting price of 8L Ex showroom honestly.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though the base price is competitively priced as kicks base is not a barebone unlike creta or Hexa, I believe the price of two top models diesel only are not vfm. They should have offered atleast 6 airbags, sunroof to justify the price. But still Nissan is a competent brand. They must bring in the automatics, and other features to remain competitive.
