Re: Mahindra Begins Development of Next Generation Scorpio (W105)
Hi Raj, from a known source it still has 120 BHP.
And suspension is similar to that of Xylo with Anti Roll bar, for comfort on bad roads.
They are still testing and tweaking the suspension.
Plan is to make it more roomy and better space utilisation.
If the gear lever has a pull up mechanism, it could mean the new Scorpio has the 6 speed gearbox from the XUV! And maybe 140 bhp too! ![Clap [clap] [clap]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Clap.gif)
For non-M&M followers - the Scorpio's mHawk engine was always capable of 140 bhp, but the older gearbox (now present in the Scorpio) was not capable of handling that amount of torque and power. Which is why M&M developed the new 6 speed gearbox in the XUV. So, if M&M has carried over the gearbox to this new facelifted Scorpio, it could also mean that they could bump up the power to 140 bhp.
