Much improvement from the previous one. I always wonder how Maruti is always SPOT on with the design and placement of their products, specially for Indian Market. They always offer what the masses want. Its an attractive product that will tick most of the choice boxes in a Family.
I mainly like the way they have done Driver Cabin, Third row seats and the boot.

New Maruti Suzuki Ertiga gets dealer-level CNG kit

The second-gen Ertiga is currently only offered with petrol and diesel options. However, now dealers are now offering petrol variants with a sequential CNG kit as part of the accessories package for the new Ertiga.

Reclyning third row seats, adjustable second row makes this all new Ertiga much better MPV then the outgoing variant. Also with more accessable luggage space and with the pricing maruti has another winner in hands.Surely we would be seeing its petrol sales going up with fuel pricing equals for petrol and diesel.

Dear Experts,
Can someone inform that in 17.8 cm touch screen display can be fitted in ZXI AT variant?
My concern is the slot available in ZXI AT is suitable to accommodate the touch screen display?

From where I can get the same? And the same will be fixed in the location where ZXI+ variant touch screen located?
Or do I need to fixed in top of dash board?
You can get from dealer itself. They should help you. Wait for few more days as getting spares/accessories may not be easy as car is just launched.

Alleged Maruti Ertiga 1.5 diesel with 6-speed MT spotted on test

At the moment, the 1.3-litre engine for the Maruti Ertiga offers a class-leading fuel efficiency of 25.47 kmpl. It outputs a maximum power of 90 PS and a peak torque of 200 Nm. While adequate for the light MPV, it’s not the most powerful engine around. The 1.5-litre motor will spell an end to this trend.

The manufacturer was recently spied testing the MPV with its new diesel motor. But before its launch, the company is planning to come up with a sporty six-seater version of the Maruti Ertiga. As per our sources, this model will be sold through the Nexa premium dealerships and will be inspired from a concept that has been previously showcased in Indonesia.

Got to see the New Ertiga in the Auto Performance Show, Mumbai.
The car is a big jump from the previous version,
Spacious and Bigger
I sat on the 3rd row and felt its almost at par with the bigger MUV's

The second-gen Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been on sale for a few months in a single, seven-seat, three-row configuration. In the coming weeks, however, a six-seat version of the Ertiga will also go on sale. The version in question will be the new range-topper and will be pitched as a premium model. And in line with its positioning, this top-spec Ertiga is likely to be retailed exclusively from Maruti’s premium Nexa sales network.

I took a delivery of Ertiga VXI on January 1, 2019. I have driven 2600km so far and most are long trips. The Petrol engine has enough power to do the job on highways. Even though it's a long car, you won't really feel it while driving in city. It will struggle a little when going on hill area but will do the job. The NVH levels are terrible. My middle passenger side windows and front driver side window when lowered about 2 inches or so, will rattle / vibrate with sound when passing through a slight rough patch on roads which is disappointing. I had told the service center about it and I was told that it's normal in all Maruti cars :O Which I find hard to digest. I mean brand new car with window rattles from Day 1. Another disappointment is headlights. They feel non existent when there is a vehicle with lights on coming from opposite direction even if it's a scooter with a high beam. You just can't see through. The space is good inside overall and you may feel it because seats has little less under thigh support. You will feel wind push from sides on Highways while overtaking large vehicles even if it's fully loaded. Overall package is disappointing due to it's build quality.
