I think Ford will just unveil the figo hatch by 2014 year end and release it maybe by 2015 June - July time, from what I have heard Ford will first introduce figo sedan with the 1.0 80 hp tivct and 1.5 tdci 75 hp and let the compact sedan competition have a proper shake down and then by 2015 mid pack they will introduce figo hatch and by that time the compact hatch segment will see new generation competition since Hyundai,datsun,suzuki,tata, will up the game with super competitive cars,
The idea of sub 10 lakh cars in India is so populated that every new car seem to strike superb balance,so I think if a manufacturer isnt able to pull out something special,the others will cannibalize the new comer,ride handling comfort has been Ford's USP but that's not going to play any role in making figo siblings famous,I think Ford should put safety as a top priority in their new comers to make then stand out
Already I got news that new figo will be Ford's built tough with 28% boron steel usage in critical partsto improve strength and ride,handling,mileage,technology will be of top class, if there is space,quality to match figo siblings will do wonders

Here is more new Figo will also be a contender for world car of the year as per an auto magazine named Auto week and already it has points striking for it against world car of the year 2013 the VW Up! in terms of mileage figures

Launch in July for Brazil, I think for India just like Ecosport we might have to wait till June 2015 to get hatch back whereas sedan might be launched earlier

Ford has revealed the production version of the Ka hatchback today, ahead of its expected unveiling post FIFA world cup in Brazil. The same car will also make its way to India as the next-generation Figo in 2015.

The car looks largely similar to the concept model, except for the changes made to the grille. While the concept had chrome plated horizontal slats, the production version has a honeycomb grille. The headlamp too has received different mirror element, though the design has remained unchanged.

The honey comb grill looks smart, sporty in my opinion
I am pretty much sure it has interior that looks like that of the Ford Ecosport Ambient variants
