Oh okay, I was confused between silver and red, I have heard from sales person, red is difficult to maintain and scraches can be seen easily in red when compared to silver. Is that true?

@UDA

Personally I did not like Silver in any car as it looks very common to me with its population on roads. So yes it is safe for scratches and maintenance, but no excitement either you wash your car or not.

Though the dark colors need bit more care and maintenance, but when you clean your car you will get that new and fresh feeling, so I vote for that new Red in Ritz !!

Silver is too bland for those exteriors. Make Gurrala74's day and buy it in red.

Confucious nods.

Will there be any difference between resale value in Silver Vs Red? and what kind of special care do i have to keep in mind, if i buy Red.

I have heard from sales person that in case of any paintings in silver, only part of portion can be re-painted whereas, in red the entire portion of the body to be re-painted? is this true please advise.

I have been reading this thread, understand how this person Udaa is analyzing in making a right choice for his vehicle..He is not the only person, many undergoes the same situation as its better to think many times before buying a best car for them/as well as for the family and value for hard-earned money. But teasing over once situation is really unfair. This forum is to post, discuss and clarrify about vehicles. If we are ready to help someone, lets do it, else we can leave to others to answer the question. I think this person Udaa has already booked paying the money..he is not time passing here asking doubts, so friends help him if anyone has a answer.
@udaa- I would suggest to go with silver, as i own it and have no maintenance issues so far. But yet, wait for experts answer many will help you without teasing your interest.

HI Udaa,

As all above posts suggest, Silver will be most easy to maintain, while Red will look smashing.

Colour is a personal choice and Ritz comes in many good colours.

Thanks,
Anshuman

That sales person was wrong with his words on painting. It may be any color if you do not choose same code of color it will show difference. Yes being silver it did not get noticed from a distance and a dark color will show easily.

- First enjoy your buying and a color which your heart likes
- Forget about these paint mismatch, everything can be perfectly matched with today's paint codes and paint job
- Do not think too much on the dents and scratches, if it is a car and driven it tends to have them, we can easily get it fixed with touch up
- Just think of that joy when you have a color which gives you a showroom condition feeling after nice wash, it is priceless
-there is nothing like that a color will decide the resale. It is the car and brand,ODO reading, condition will decide.

Yes, I am saying it again Silver is always safe bet as told by other members, but there is no much excitement in silver to be frank, so to explain you clearly
"A scratch is not seen on a dark complexion persons face, but the same can be seen quickly on a fair complexion persons face" so decide your self now, you want a beautiful girl or an average girl [lol]

buy the color which you want, at the end it boils down to your money and you should not have post purchase dissonance after spending close to 5/6 lacs on your car.

i was sure my next car would be red and i purchased it and i love it. atleast i do not have to curse anyone when i see my red brio which would have been the case had i purchased a titanium brown or silver.

yeah, correct. Confusion here is that I like Silky Silver and my family likes the Red one. So just wanted to get an idea from experts as to which color looks stunning with the Ritz Design :)
