assume somebody lifts leg from clutch while in Ghats and suddenly car ignition becomes OFF.assume what will happen to him , specially for new drivers it will be havoc.
atleast if u know use of hand brake, it will save u.but still hand brake will be sudden brake.

When car stops, the brake will still work for some time and then it will become hard eventually, so you can stop your car and then start your car ignition again and here you gooooooooooo.

I am new joinee to the group and was following Vaibhav's thread very closely as finally I decided to go for LDI model <Dzire>.

I know many other cars in market , but some how I decided and finalized on this.


I have a few questions

a) Did your power windows last longer now, it is almost 1.5 years for your car. Maruti (MGA), front power windows are 7300 and you got all 4 in 8k I believe.

My sales person never told me what brand they will install for power windows.

b) Someone told me to get Bridgestone tyres as JK tyres had some issues. Should I ask my sales person to give the car with Bridgestone tyres.

c) Lastly I am looking for stereo from outside or MGA. I am looking for touch screen (Bluetooth ) , which can be used for navigation as well as reverse camera.

Which one is best , of course in today's world and how much it will cost.

I am getting delivery on coming Sunday so please help to respond.

Let original tyres remain. No point in waisting money
Try top buy a integrated audio system with reverse camera sensors...

Dzire owners have to comment on this. I am sure the one you get it fitted at MGA will last long
My sales person never told me what brand they will install for power windows.
The brand is RD which is only available at MGA and is very reliable. Never get them from after market

Yes, JK Tornados have hard compound rubber and are noisy. If showroom person agree to give with BS then it is good, other wise exchange them out side shops immediately same day of your delivery

I do not have idea on the touch screen HUs, visit the accessories section on TAI

The car was only booked , and dealer is still arguing on not delivering Bridgestone tyres as he says he has assigned the car from that Lot.< Three lots the company recieves BS,JK,MRF> I have not done PDI(Pre dilvery inspection) and this is really sad as he never gave any information and directly booked it.

Is it Mandatory that dealer should ask for PDI before assigning the car. I only gave 50 k cheque and once it got credited they r not paying much attention.< any advice>


How much it will cost if I exchange tyres outside JK with BS.

whats the approx cost. I am not willing to spend more then 20 k on this.
