Re: New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel) | 3rd Service Update | 20,000 Kms: Ownership Review

Hi Friends,
I am driving new Ford figo 1.5 Trend.. Please help me to know what is the ideal Tyre pressure i have to maintain. And how frequently i have to refill the air.

Thanks
Varaprasad
The tire pressure information is pasted under the door sill once you open the front driver side door (a yellow sticker if I remember correct). The same can be found in the user manual though the units will be bars instead of psi.
I usually maintain 32 psi on all wheels. I usually ride with two adults on board.

does anyone know a better way to protect car from direct sunlight and dirt . It might be challenging for my car as I park outside under direct sunlight. ceramic pro 9h and 3m services under consideration . will it make any changes to deterioration ?
My car's parked under the sun and I haven't seen any deterioration on any of my cars including santro. Just make sure you don't use hard water for cleaning the car.

New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel) | 3rd Service Update | 20,000 Kms: Ownership Review

yesterday had a 247km drive with my new ruby. journey was comfortable.Felt like more back support would do add wonders. Missed the arm rest and neck support. 3rd gear was a bit notchy at times. Lights on highway was dull. averaged fuel economy shows as 13.9 kmpl.

This is a neat arm rest for new Figo, one can fit it with just around 20 mins spent on it
Auto Pearl - Premium Quality Black Chrome Armrest Console Box For - Ford Figo New (2015): Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike

The back support is different for different forms of people, sure a larger seat would have made wonders but the current Figo seats are best for average to slim built people,

Also mileage will improve over time, at first 8000-9000 kms the mileage will vary vastly

Wish you a lot of safe miles on the new Figo Ruby[clap]

I use 2 cushions for additional back support. Might try those black backrests you get near traffic signals and all.

mileage will definitely increase.
second tankful gave me 14kmpl.
third tankful gave me 17kmpl
increased to 18.7 kmpl in winters.
now i get 17kmpl in summers and 20kmpl in winters.

you will have to check in your local car market for seat covers. showroom's prices are generally high but fitting and quality is good.
i got these seat covers

I bought the 3rd year extended warranty when I bought the car. Today I called regarding 4th year extended warranty and they are saying they can't give it separately , I should have bought for both the years. 4th year wasn't even available at that time [frustration]

Day before yesterday I noticed that my driver side rear mats are wet, Since I use noddle mat, so could not found out that the mats were wet. Kind of white fungus has formed there. I removed all mats and dried the mat. Now after drying the mats I washed my car and noticed the mats are wet again. I don't see any water seeping through doors, Not sure anyone has faced such issues. I also noticed that one nob is missing from rear door, not sure if that is the reason.

Get your car checked at the service center. Ask them to check the ac drain pipe.

Is there a possibility that the rims are defective (the left pulling issue)? Right now getting the wheels balanced and the machine keeps on asking for weight everytime the same tyre is kept on it after balancing! Second thoughts are the mechanic told that the left shock was starting to leak, right one is fine. Can it be the reason too? I mean will getting the shock replaced solve the problem?

the guy that posted the video on youtube got all the tyres changed but still he had left pulling issue. it must be something else.
about the rim , use that rim as a spare tyre and then check. also get the shocks replaced under warranty.
Ask them if the ball joints , tie rods can be the issue.

After correct alignment, the issue still persists. Have to contact ford now for this issue.
