Re: New 2016 Maruti Ertiga Granite Grey ZDi+ SHVS: The Highway Champion!!!

i mean can we remove the whole box ? .. not only the cover.
i thinks hy removing that two screw we can remove the whole box .. so the height will be increase and length will be same
better way than installing roof carrier
look at the picture ... i got it
Bro I don't think we can do like that, anyways ask the same with your sales consultant he must have an sure answer. I added the roof carrier for looks, i will not be using it that frequently.

BTW what is the cost of that roof rail.

Actually I'm thinking to put roof box because it has good aerodynamic and doesn't make noise even at high speed

in case of carriers the luggage makes some noise.

congratulations for you're new Ertiga[clap]. Its my all time fav.[:)]
The third row seats are not so comfortable itseems? have seen some ownership reviews. And Maruti has not only skipped the cooled glove box it has also skipped the automatic climate control which all the rivals and equivalent cars like Brezza, B-RV and Dzire has.
All the best, hope you clock a six digit number in the odo.[:)]

Thanks Friend[:)], Really, its almost everyone's favorite car out here, No not at all The 3rd row seat is more than sufficient for two adults not that cramped, i had the same feeling till we test drove it and when i sat in the 3rd row i was very comfortable the ride quality was awesome... Yes Lots of modern day technologies are there, but few are been cut down from the list which other competitors in the price offers, But this car is more focused towards comfort and ride satisfaction of the passengers.

Yeah really looking forward to the 100K Milestone. But would take min 8-9 years to achieve!

Thanks, Yes i would say Its the best in its segment, Its definitely an LUV More than a proper MPV. Thanks Again[:)].

Yeah love that pic. Took pics in lots, filtered them this was the best, so made it as my DP.

Thanks buddy,

Its been a longtime since we had a talk! Happy that we got back together in phase again, Really cool, Cool silver is an awesome colour i love it, The best thing about silver is that it gets gelled with all cars easily, And i wish him a happy and safe miles with it[:)].

Ertiga had his first ever rain ride, that too in traffic. Loved to drive in rain, also it was a heavy rain!!!!

Link Of the Video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExNnzshmWXI

so after the rain stopped 2 days later went to 3M And washed him up (Waxed again), Probably will wax him every single time i wash.

Now doing awesome, strong on the ODO: 609Km so far

Mileage:16.1Kmpl I think mileage would probably get increased after the first service.

Congratulation for the car.
To maintain this delicate color..i will suggest apply a paint protection cote on it. 3M will do the job. or any other detailer around area can do that. Then regularly main the car. Waterless wash from prokeller is very good for weekly wash. Do not wash the car daily. Use jopasu duster to wipe the dust.

You mean the Paint sealant (Teflon Coating)? Waterless Prokeller, I've Heard about it, But really didn't got my hands on it, But will get one, And may i know the washing time with it? No, Actually i used to in the earlier days when we purchased the swift but not now, I wash the car weekly or 2 weeks once, Already bought the Jopasu Duster Received it From paytm Costed me about 800/- With a additional Glove type Duster.

Hi FordFiesta1.6, your detailed review and writeup inspired me to buy Ertiga ZDi plus granite grey. I was keen on buying XUV 500 but my mind spoke over my heart and I finally bought Ertiga. It is an upgrade from Wagon R (2006).

One quick query,
I inspected the car and found that the central roof mounted rear view mirror has no cover to hide the screws which attached the mirror base to the roof surface - and it looks like as if a cap or cover is missing. Can someone please post a photo of the area where the mirror is attached (it is close to the front cabin light console)? Just wanted to check if there is something missing for real.

Also would like to know if Ertiga ZDI+ comes with any remote control for its Audio System. It had SD Card and two booklets (car manual and audio system manual).

Thanks Buddy,

Yes Mine has that cover ask for the cover with your Sales consultant.

No The Smartplay Unit doesn't have an Remote control. And the SD Card slot is for the navigation. The booklets are all perfect.

Advance congratulation on your new buy ertiga.[:)]
