Hi ,do you get any rattling sound from the steering while going through rough roads? my zest is having this problem from the beginning itself, and mohandas motors were not able to solve it.
Apologies for the delayed response. Yes at times i do get this sound from steering wheel if the roads are hopeless. Even i checked with service folks and they say its quite normal. I don't know, probably other owners can share their experience.

congrats Godfather. Happy for you. I am the proud owner of XT Diisel for 2 years now and its White [:)]
your dislikes were same as mine but for A pillar, you will get used to it but you have kept the mobile holder near A pillar, wont it be more hindrance?
I been planning for rain visor but been postponing thinking how it will suite.
Can you share some more photo on long shot with visor?
Thanks for sharing your views. Yes the A pillar issue is partially gone since i am used to the car now. But at times it does give you a surprise or two and you have to be vigilant enough especially during night drive. The rain visors are really nice to have accessory. Please go through my photos on previous page. If you feel it's insufficient, i will take some more. Do let me know.

check tyre pressures, I had this sound after the service from TATA. and when i check the pressures it was 40PSI on all wheels. there was no sound when i reduced it to 32PSI

regarding cabin noise, i found psi plays a important role. I always keep it 33 and recently when i changed it to nitrogen, the noise has gone down further. The issue is with bridgestrone tyre.
If anyone buying the car now, i strong suggest, replace the tyres immediately, that will give good exchange rate.

I am keeping at 33psi right from the beginning. Once i lowered to 30psi and the sound reduced a bit.

I second that, the stock BS250 is total crap. Cabin noise is definitely there because of the rubber grinding the tarmac. The only service cost that i had to incur for my car till date is the cost for fixing the punctures. 3 punctures so far in the space of 15500 kms. [frustration]

3 punctures?
for me no punctures till now but left front cracked open [anger]. The only option left to replace it with new tyre which they said will cost 6.5 K and after so much argument, they agreed to get it done without any cost

Quite unfortunate isn't but yes 3 punctures so far and its really annoying. I assume the rate of puncture to be high because of the road widening work that's happening in my daily office route.

Apart from being noisy, I feel the stock tyres are pretty decent in performance. Knowing that other vendor provide OEM tyres which are usually GoodYear, JK, MRF, Ceat etc for cars till 8-9 lakh. Bridgestone is far better than these IMO.

Bridgestone is much better. I got Apollo Alnac in my skoda rapid that has the same size as zest's tyre. the road noise is pretty high and the performance is slightly poor during rainy season. Planning to get bridgestones for my Rapid. If road noise is an issue, you can consider BridgeStone Turanza or potenza.
