Raj think twice, If you swap from SUV to Hatch back you may feel the vehicle is underpowered.
Well Raj as far i am concerned i have never felt it difficult to handle in traffic's.
Infact other vehicles make way for you.
May be you are more inclined towards beauty of interiors & more features.
Any ways make a wise choice.
Looking forward for your next car.

of course buddy, i do acknowledge all that about road presence, power, etc. i am not in a hurry to take any decision.

after driving a SUV for 6 years, i think its time to try something else now, thats it! but i am not selling my scorpio right away, as i said, only 50% chance.

yes,
SUVs are not mod-friendly at all.
So if you are to mod-your vehicle, it is got to be Punto, or a Mitsu(the most mod-friendly brand). But its way too far to consider.

Frankly, nothing is decided yet. so i am not thinking about anything yet.

@ AMG: if at all i sell my scorpio, it would be for a i20 & not punto. i did a small comparo & an i20 has way more advantages than a punto.

Good news is that we are not selling our scorpio!

So meeting Ramie tomorrow. I want a custom made sub box which would fit exactly between my car's jump seats & not protrude to much towards the rear door so that the jump seats are usable & also enough space for luggage is available.

So upgrades planned are:

1) Ground Zero 30T sub in a sealed enclosure as stated above
Hermit Audio Pvt. Ltd.

2) Illusion EL 6.1 front components
Hermit Audio Pvt. Ltd.

3) New Wiring (maybe!)

Also regarding ICE, i wanted a bit of fancy setup but Ramie paaji titled it as "char anna ka murgi, barah anna ka masala"!!! cant translate it!

in short, the fancy setup would be too expensive for such a simple system! so going for a simple sub box with priority to SQ rather than SPL. i dont want a loud & boomy bass but instead i want a tight & perfect hitting bassline for the songs now.

I am not a HUGE ICE freak buddy, you wont see me spending lakhs on ICE, that is, even if i have that much money!

but i do like good music, especially in a car as i spend many hours in my car in mumbai traffic!

Raj you have changing the configurations in your car.
I guess this one is your 3rd change.
I will get lot of info when i will plan a setup of ICE for mine.
Is the Voice assistance working with the modifications you have done already?
I think steering control of audio is not working .

i have been changing the configurations because i want to have the perfect combi & i have made some mistakes in the past, some bad products & some bad installers.

yes, this is my 3rd upgrade & hopefully the final one.

the VAS is working fine in my car, not at all an issue.

i have lost the steering controls but that means i will have to shell out some additional money for it. not interested! if i had that money, i would invest it in better speakers & wiring!
