Hi,

Does Ciaz uses a normal Halogen H4 bulb in projector or a HID in a projector?

Any idea?
Any feedback?

Hi,

Yes I went for it but that was part of package when i bought the car. Not sure about the rate need to check with showroom. There are two chrome strips one is between tail lights and another one at bottom of trunk. Go for the one between tail light.
In between the tail light chrome strip is not available with MGA. :( Where did you find the part? Please share the part number so that I can order it and also the cost.

I will wait for your feedback.

Hi,

Just took delivery of my Ciaz ZXI, dignity brown on 21st August 2015. Completed 200 K.Ms and feels great car.

Positives:
1. Dead Silent cabin in stand still. Slight noise when I am in 2K RPM reading.
2. No lag felt till now specially upgrading from 1st gen I20 petrol top model. Infact I land up pushing it too hard in 2nd gear in first couple of times.
3. Interior feels fresh and roomy specially with the colour combination, even though I went for black seat covers.
4. Rear space is like seating in couch at home and relaxing with crossed legs.
5. Boot space is good enough to fit a heavily build man. Just HUGE.

Corn:
Missing some features from I20, like
a. wipers speed interval controls.
b. 5th Alloy, though no cars comes with 5th alloy now.
c. Actual Dead Pedal and not Pad like in Ciaz.
d. Both side steering controls, feels more premium to see you steering full with controls. [lol]

Will post pictures soon.
Here are the pictures:

Hi,

That's chrome between tail light I guess it costed me around 1000-1500 bucks. I bought it from Rohan motors at Ggn. There are two chrome strips at back one is between tail lights and another one is at bottom of trunk.

Cheers,

Here in West Bengal they have the chrome strip at bottom of the trunk and not the between the lights. If you have the part number please share then I can place the order with it.

Hi,

Has anyone changed the stock Halogon bulb? It's H7 should I go for Osram NB (H7) 55 W or should I go for H7 HID? Suggestion please.
Position and number plate lights are T10 (W5W) type - right? If yes then I have LED bulbs for it and I will go for it.

Hi,
Can anyone confirm the interior bulb type i.e. (T10 or something else).
Interior - Front overhead, Rear reading and Luggage area lights. Once confirmed I will order for LED bulbs.

Found a big problem after a months experience:
There is no signal for trunk Lid cover open. It happened with me twice. The lid was open and I kept driving until fellow drivers pointed me the same. More importantly the central locking worked fine even with the trunk lid open. I big miss by MSIL. Has anyone else faced same issue.

That's true, I too have faced a similar issue while parking my car in a mall's basement. Security did it's checking but did not close the trunk properly, it was only next day when cleaner came and noticed trunk not closed properly. Yes that's a big miss from Maruti.

Apart from this one thing that irritates me the most is whenever I switch off my car OVRMs should fold automatically rather than me pressing a button for the same.

True a big miss by Maruti on trank Lid, did they fix it in new Hybrid model?

Auto folding mirrors when locked are only featured by Hyundai cars and that too in few of it's models. Even my old I20 didn't have auto-fold when locked, I had to use a switch to close it. Though that switch was in direct contact with battery hence you can close the mirrors even when the ignition position was in "LOCK" unlike Ciaz.

No no visors. Even when i pullup window glass full, glass is closing completely and return slightly with jerk and shaking upholstry. But it closes completely with no air gap. Stills wind noise persist.

Please check the rubber insulation on the doors. It may be possible that the rubber insulation may be loose which shall transmit the wind noise from the gap between door and the roof line.
